Not done much today really, got up at 5.27am and then settled myself in front of the telly to watch the motorracing, after that had finished, I got dressed, mooched on here, mooched on facebook - played with my farm and empire on there (sad innit), sent a few emails, sorted out my internet banking, started to type up assignments, gave business advice and then came back here:D

have a look at this Len.

bottom line is if his temp can be controlled with calpol and he is keeping fluids down, they won't do anything for you. Only if the are dehydrated or convulsing or have the rash that doesn't go away under the glass test. If he is poorly, you're better off keeping him happy and quiet and home rather than lugging him off to a Dr office full of germs. Make him some lollies with weak squash and keep giving him calpol.
Thanks Bunny x. Im asking her to phone because Im saying the same as you plus mi bloody mother is busting mu chops too. SO im saying what youve said ^^^^ and am therefore saying, if you want to phone then you phone. x

    Awww, poor love.
Stick to water, I would avoid milk completely as it stays in the stomach for a longer time and is more likely to be upchucked!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Poor light mite, milk is bad if he's been vomiting though. Stick with water and weak squash for 24 hours

my Mom always swore NEVER to give kids milk when they were poorly. And Dr's always say 'clear fluids'.

Personally, the thought of taking a kid who is throwing up everywhere out in public is my worst nightmare! I hate cleaning sick up esp from cars and public places. My sister was a champion puker and would throw up everywhere we went. She even threw up all over the guy sitting in front of us at a baseball game and in the foyer of a posh restaurant back home...

I'll never forget Freya throwing up like the kid in The Exorcist in the restaurant in Debenhams. I was sooooo embarassed...

    Bloody kids...

Freya is sat here in tears because the little girls she plays with are being horrible to her. I told her to go say 'I dont want to play with you either' and she said 'no, it will hurt their feelings' but I tried to tell her they dont care about hurting hers!

Im going to kick some little kid a$$. No one makes my daughter cry....
