Thanks girls. Well he has been drinking water and I think he burped BEFORE I gave him the milk. Hes had nothing since Fri night bar a small biscuit. He has just had some milk and so far it hasnt come back up. He is rather floppy and quite hot. He's had Calpol a couple of times since last night and kept that down as he was rather warm yesterday. So will let OH ring NHS Direct.

have a look at this Len.

    http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/help/

bottom line is if his temp can be controlled with calpol and he is keeping fluids down, they won't do anything for you. Only if the are dehydrated or convulsing or have the rash that doesn't go away under the glass test. If he is poorly, you're better off keeping him happy and quiet and home rather than lugging him off to a Dr office full of germs. Make him some lollies with weak squash and keep giving him calpol.

And what's with this 'letting her' call business.

!!!!!! does she have to ask for permission to use the phone?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

It's a euphemism for "ask her to call because she's better on the phone than I am..."

It's similar to the female "I'll let him change that dodgy tyre on the car..."

Yes, proper meat - none of this supermarket "injected with water" crap.

Yes, and proper thick smoked bacon without all the water and nitrates.
