MATH - fingers crossed for Mrs Math tomorrow
Well I feel like something from the cats tray - went to see me boss first thing this morning before my jacket was off - seemed I called her a b**ch and not in a nice manner - I am so embarrased - she told me not to worry (too late) that she put it down to drink but she didnt feel comfortable with the situation at the time as she didnt expect that from me - how work and personnel life to be separate - I feel so awful. Still it is done now and nothing I can say will change anything - I have apologised profusely - we will need to take it from there
OH is nightshift tonight so starfish in the bed for me
Will go and empty dishwasher and tidy kitchen, dinner for tonight is made - chicken curry and rice - will make tomorrow nights now - Macaroni cheese I think - maybe not just remembered I forgot to get milk on the way home
Settle down to watch Masterchef and then some TV programs
Have lovely evening all
Hugs and take care

Hi all!
Freyaluck So pleased to hear your news! :j
P-P Hope things went okay at the hospital - I take it you went by train rather than in the new Bentley....
Bargain Rzl You are obviously still not well, what a shame you felt you had to go to work, but it is a problem when so many of your colleagues are ill too isn't it! Try to have a few early nights at least!
MATH We missed you! Will be thinking of Mrs MATH tomorrow. Of course she may end up being offered both jobs - feast or famine, as you said!
Johanne Hope the interview went okay!
Apologies to anyone I've missed, and ((((HUGS)))) to all who need one. Can't manage a long post today.!

Hello everyone,
Hope hospital went ok PP. Hope veryone else has had an ok day.
I haven't had time to read through the thread. I find it hard in the working week.
Since getting in from work I have made hm pizza for dd. Been to morrisons and got masses of strawberries, pre-prepared veg and citrus fruit on reduced to clear to 9p per packet. Made all the veg into soup with marigold stock. It has turned out really well. Squeezed one large packet of oranges into fresh juice. Gave glasses of this to dd and boyfriend before they went out for evening.
Trying to get my kitten in just now as he is adept at getting out when I go to the bin etc. I don't like him out when it is dark.0 -
Hi all, only just managed to get a few minutes on the computer. Got home from work to some bad news. My telephone bill has arrived & it's over £340  Seems my stepson made a lot of phone calls when he was staying with us. I've told hubby, but feel guilty cos he will worry, & it isn't his fault his son takes advantage in this way. He's been bought up to see his dad as a money pot. But this bill will wipe out a chunk of our savings.
Enough of my moaning. Hugs & FF Blessings to all who need them.

Argh. Having a major stress at the moment.
Manager at work on holiday, someone is off sick and we have a couple of full time vacancies so am really short staffed. So Supervisor Kat is in charge and doing lots of hours for the third week in a row. And my first OU assignment is due in on Friday. I want to cry. I've done a little of everything but its no where near finished. Will have to see what I can do tonight before I have to ring up my tutor begging for an extension. At least my pay packet will be healthy. Need a new job.
Hope the poorly people get well, good luck with job interviews, house moving and inspectors.

I will be so glad when we finally move and i can register as a childminder and hand my notice in and then tell them what i think.
anyway enough moaning,it seems everyone has had a bad start to the week not what we all need on a monday.

Hello again everyone
I have had an extremely long day. Despite just two and a half hours kip I managed to keep my eyes open all day during work, and all evening at college. I could sleep like a wee baby right now though.
Kat...I totally sympathsize with you, I went through the same when I was preparing for my final exams for my CIPD - except I'd had an extension on my management report and had that to do as well. In the end I reverted to ProPlus tablets, lots of caffeine and many cigarettes (which I've since quit) and allowing myself just four hours sleep per night and then gobbling more ProPlus tablets. Actually I was a quivering wreck...just saying that it's possible to get through this stress, however tactics might shake the health industry to its very foundations.
Smokey112...oh I feel for you, I really do...it sounds like your boss is taking it fairly well and is being professional. Do the same ie be professional - you will both move on from it with enough time.
Freyaluck, I'm so glad to hear things have improved for you. Your new house sounds fab, you can do it up a bit at a time. I'm sure Curry_Queen will have some hot tips for you regards decor, carpets and garden. It's exciting, how soon do you move?
Sorry peeps but I am so tired I can hardly type, so am going to wander off to the land of nod and try to avoid oversleeping in the morning. (I managed to be late five times last week, so that was 100% failure rate on my vow to be at work on time every day).
See you all tomorrow.

Good morning everyone!
I'm (unfortunately) up nice and early so thought I would get the thread started. It was funny yesterday how so many started it off at the same time.
So - broken record time - I can't sleep. I was so wrecked yesterday I had ProPlus tablets, a couple of coffees and some diet coke, but all before 4.00 pm. I was practically falling over with fatigue by 11.00 pm, but now I am wide awake! Thought maybe it was all that caffeine but then I wouldn't have slept in the first place. Have just had a cup of chamomile tea, maybe that will help for the remainder of the night.
Last night I had a lovely cooking time - made a scrumptious chicken curry and an utterly devine tomato soup. Yeah, am blowing my own trumpet there, but I have surpassed myself I think! They are both Delia Smith recipes, though I find it hard to resist chucking in something extra if there is something needing to be used up. In the soup it was half a tin of tomatoes and a leek, the chicken curry is supposed to have cream but instead I'll use some natural yoghurt which is in the fridge. I also made a gorgeous little fruit loaf, it's the v.v.simple malt loaf recipe from the mega-index but I adapted it and used dried pineapple, dried figs and pumpkin seeds and chucked in some nutmeg. It is so yummy, and totally fat free (except for the grease on the tin!).
Lucky me has a half day from work today. My house is fairly newly built and the builder is sending an inspector out to finalise some certificate or other. I have to be in from 2.00 pm - I am so happy to get out of work for half a day. However I will have to do some magic and very rapid old styling to get the house looking as a bomb didn't go off. I'm so untidy and don't notice my own chaos until I conciously have a look as if I am a visitor (or my mother) and then I am appalled. I would rather be sleeping though, so I am going off to bed now to try again.
Hope everyone is OK today.
MATH - let us know how Lady yMATH got on yesterday.
Hugs to everyone.
