You may get accepted, if not certainly appeal. Yea the good old days from jan 07 have gone and citi are not giving any bank accounts to sub prime any more.... they must have wanted to fill their coffers with high riskers lol
Seems that way.
When I got my Citi account, I didn't have much credit history ... after years of not having any credit so it was a bit of risk for them although I didn't get the OD and Cheque Guarantee Card straight away but I have them now after good account conduct.
I'll post back when I hear about the Citi card ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

Please do - I think you'll get it. let me ask, you're an existing customer right? So you can't apply online - you have to send an email... existing customers that apply online get instant refusal usually cos they say if you are existing then do not apply online but email or ring up cos they do restricted credit search....
look here: http://www.citibank.co.uk/personals/app_k2/pre_app.htm?type=cards&merchant=citi&offer=A139
and in particular to this bit: You are not already an existing customer (already a customer?)

Yeah, I'm an existing Citibank customer for bank account.
I don't currently have any Citibank credit cards but it did let me submit my application online for a CC when I applied earlier today.:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

yea but that could affect your application...... if it does, wait 30 days and ring up and ask for a credit card! They will then use your banking score to offer the account to you. guaranteed (well 99%)......2010 - year of the troll
