I'm guessing here you've tried to repair it. Do the F8 things again this time select restore factory defaults, that should restore it to as it was before you powered it on.
If that fails it's most likely a hardware issue and (and I don't mean this to sound bad but it will) beyond your technical skill, and you need to seek help. Where abouts in the UK are you?
Sadly it wont go past insisting that I put the windows disc in and if I don't have it to contact the manufacturer.
I don't take offence!- It really is beyond my capabilities we live in Hereford.
