  • I had intended to say it costs £1 for a 1000 litres.

    On my bill it says:-

The charge for each cubic metre of water used is £0.8237
For Domestic Customers with meters installed before 01 April 2003 there is a standing annual charge of £17.05

Unmetered water has a standing charge of £20 and an additional charge of 54p per pound of rateable value.

    *gulp*

My malicious software and secure programming module involves assembly language.

As for c#/java argument - a few of my assignments have been c/c++/c# only. So I got used to c# and also mobile programming.

I don't dislike Java though :) Just found the c# programming envrionment more compatible/efficient/useful - specially with VS2008.

Some jobs do too - it is used in some safety critical/high integrity systems.

I quite like it - you know exactly what you are getting with it :) (haven't done it for YEARS mind)

  • In all honesty, I don't really know how to use it. We weren't really taught, but merely given code samples to minutely adapt and understand how it works without having to write our own!

Seems like a large task trying to learn how to code from scratch in the stuff.

  • MSE IS GR8

It has some light hearted moments.

Like this thread where somebody tell the nation that a flat mate has left a light on and so far about 25 posts have followed this revelation.

  • Reminds me of the old MSE :)

In the past year or so there have been a lot of arguments and flaming on simple basic threads hehe! :)
