I had intended to say it costs £1 for a 1000 litres.
On my bill it says:-
The charge for each cubic metre of water used is £0.8237
For Domestic Customers with meters installed before 01 April 2003 there is a standing annual charge of £17.05
Unmetered water has a standing charge of £20 and an additional charge of 54p per pound of rateable value................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -

My malicious software and secure programming module involves assembly language.
As for c#/java argument - a few of my assignments have been c/c++/c# only. So I got used to c# and also mobile programming.
I don't dislike Java though

Some jobs do too - it is used in some safety critical/high integrity systems.
I quite like it - you know exactly what you are getting with it (haven't done it for YEARS mind)

In all honesty, I don't really know how to use it. We weren't really taught, but merely given code samples to minutely adapt and understand how it works without having to write our own!
