    Thanks, that's a great price, as long as they hold the poop and don't split, that's all that matters! ;)

    Hi, 4p for 100 nappy bags - not sure why they charge 54p for 300!

    Good value items I have discovered for my lunch box;

    ham
    crisps - i get the ones that contain wotsits, onion rings and chipsticks
    cereal bars
    chocolate snack bars - like penguins.

    Am I the only one who's actually stood in the toilet roll aisle, checking how many "sheets" you get per roll and calculating the price per sheet of various loo-rolls? Boy, do I need to get a life! :rotfl:

    I concluded you got more sheets for your money with the standard own-brand rolls than the value ones.

    :rotfl: well, these things have to be done sometimes!!

    I haven't tried Te$co Value 12 Pack, but since switching to A$da Smart Price 12 Pack, we are not get through anywhere near as many loo rolls as we used to.

    Also.....if you squish the roll before putting it on the toilet roll holder, it makes it less easy for small children to pull reams of it off in one go (I read that somewhere on here) my "small" children are 21 and 24 :rotfl: but it seems to work with them too ;)

    Omg, lol, will have to try that one, my children are older too, but my son wastes so much loo roll, so I will give that a go! :rotfl:

    That tip, along with decanting your washing up liquid into an old empty hand soap dispenser - so that you "pump" the washing up liquid into the sink (2 pumps is enough) thus preventing OH from squeezing half a bottle into the sink each time he does the washing up - are two of the best tips I've read on here :)

    Oh, those two, and using cheap bubble bath to refill your empty hand/liquid soap dispensers. How simple is that eh? Apparently they contain pretty much the same ingredients. That has saved me a fortune too, as I've got a bit of a Howard Hughes thing going on, and am always washing my hands, lol.
