I have not been helped by dchurch24 and hopefully am not likely to be. However, can anyone think of anyone else who has been involved with anything that has got so much money back for MSErs than he has by his actions and support.
I would therefore like to nominate him for this.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0 -

I want to nominate LHM for his matched betting thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=164833&page=1&pp=10
LHM should receive the money because lots of people have financially benefited and he/she was very generous in telling us about it. This forum is all about helping people and sharing information and this is an excellent example of how this forum works in practice. I've been feeling quite miserable recently and his thread really cheered me up- restores faith in human nature. My winnings will pay for my new kettle which i desperately need. The £50 is the least he/she deserves.0 -
I beg to differ very strongly with homersimpson - whilst a few people may have made a lucky tenner, the advice given by the OP of the thread was inherently bad.
There is a dedicated Gambling Loopholes board on MSE where people can learn and discuss how to make significantly more money from offers such as the one touted (with a referral link) on the thread homersimpson refers to.0 -
Hi
Thanks for the person who mentioned the scheme on the site.
:T
I registered for the British gas rebate scheme.
Just received a letter today informing me that they are extending the scheme.
Not only that it will also be increasing the amount of the rebate so you could save £90 on your energy bills next winter.
Over the course of this coming winter you could receive a total of £90, in the form of two separate credits on your 2006/07 winter gas & electricity bills.
£30 on electricity
£60 on gas
you will receive one credit on your last bill this year, and one on your first bill of next year. If you pay for your energy through a prepayment meter, they will advise you nearer the time about how your rebate will be made.
If you have allready registered your rebate will be automatically credited to your account
If you have any questions about the scheme the phone number is 0845 601 2006.
Other help available to you from British Gas
If your're receiving benefits, 'here to HELP' programme offers free cavity wall insulation

Hope this helps someone0 -

It was MSE Jenny who first posted about the British Gas winter rebate scheme.
She has twice in previous months been nominated for post of the month for making details of the scheme known, but sadly only a few who benefited from the post bothered to cast their vote for her. :mad:The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
