Aliasojo's mortgage pig here too. A simple idea that can involve all the family in contributing to clearing the mortgage or saving for a family commitment. :T

  • Hi

This is a bit scary as it is the first time I have tried this - I expect I am in the wrong section but here goes anyway.

Today I received an email from Amazon - Subject "your payment done" and that a transfer from my bank account (they gave last 4 didits which were incorrect) for the following amount GBP 313.14 with an order No and date, will leave my account in three to five working days. Also there was a statement as an attachment - which I didn't open and have deleted too.

I felt drained but got in touch with my bank to check that no unauthorised payments had been made - and fortunaltey none had.
I then did the same to my credit card company and this too was okay saying it was a scam.
However the chap at the Credit Card Company gave me a website to look at to keep up to date with all new spams etc and I thought I would like to share it with you.
    It is banksafeonline.org.uk

    That's it for now.

PS Would like some response please to see how this all works, even if someone can tell me if what I am doing here is correct. Many thanks. :)
