I think its Lychnis flos-cuculi, also known as Ragged robin. But its a bit difficult to tell as its such a small photo.
I love growing wild flower seeds and so I'll happily send them a photo of the results.

No, he was down right nasty. Read down all the way to the bottom. It makes the whole thing sound really slangy and horrible, not professional at all.askeve wrote:I dont think he is nasty...he is just telling you what the site is about, dont take much to fill in a form does it? must be hard when you get all of us here answering!!!

Good to have you here.

I just didn't think it looked good for him to have a whole paragraph slagging people off on a public page of his otherwise very professional-looking and well-presented website. It left a nasty taste in the mouth.
If you have negative dealings with people, tell them off privately by email by all means, but you don't have a go at them publicly for all to see. It looks small-minded and makes other people who visit the site feel uncomfortable. I hope he changes his mind and removes it. He'll gain more respect and credibility that way.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

Received my seeds today and looking forward to planting them - if my sister doesn't get hers then I may send them on as she has a larger garden.
I have read the website page, and assume that the following is the paragraph described previously as "nasty":
"We at town and city gardens have a passion for gardens and the wildlife that graces them. Therefore, only enter if you are a gardener and are prepared to send us photographs of your free seeds once they have grown.
Regards, Mike "
This seems to me to be a reasonable statement, and a valid request for something in exchange for the seeds.0 -
Seemed reasonable to me too. Got my seeds this morning and will be sending in a picture. It's exactly what I wanted for around my pond, they'll look lovely.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
