Same here, received my seeds today and will have fun planting and photographing them with my son. Weve also ordered some seeds from this site as they had some unusual seeds available. Should have a nice garden this year!0

It looks as though he has followed my suggestion and removed his rant about the greed and stupidity of people who apparently didn't fill the form in properly. I won't go into details as he has now removed it, and am only replying to this as I didn't want anyone else reading the thread to think I had completely lost my marbles!Seakay wrote:I have read the website page, and assume that the following is the paragraph described previously as "nasty":
"We at town and city gardens have a passion for gardens and the wildlife that graces them. Therefore, only enter if you are a gardener and are prepared to send us photographs of your free seeds once they have grown.
Regards, Mike "
This seems to me to be a reasonable statement, and a valid request for something in exchange for the seeds.

If you follow the link on the first page the promotion seems to be on again. The picture this time is a Giant Spider Lily (I think!) If you click on the picture it gives you another picture that is slightly easier to recognise. Most recent wins: IPad, Jamie Magazine yearbook, Links of London friendship bracelet, Baumatic ice cream machine! :j0

Thanks jenza8, I followed your advice and named the picture as advised. Did a quick google on giant spider lilies an I think you're right. Just have to wait and see what happens now.0

There is now a new question for some different seeds, not sure what the picture is of yet. The site had this info on it...
...The 30 luck winners of the last promotion will be receiving their Snapdragon Seeds very soon. Well done. The answer was: Crinum amabile, giant spider lily
