Can anyone help me understand the charges, please.

I started collecting the tokens but then came across the tip of buying priority booking reference on ebay So i did and booked a Haven Hafan y Mor site on the 1st of october. There are 4 of us going. I upgraded to luxury + and paid 70GBP. I understand there's a service charge of 7.25GBP per unit per night so that's another 30GBP.

Entertainment passes are free on the day when we go. So is that it or will I be expected to pay for anything else? Is bed linen included in Luxury+ grade or will I have to pay for it separately? Is gas and electric included in service charge or no? What is luxury+ grade like?

We've been to the site before and paid 280GBP for prestige caravan + half board (which they stopped doing since). My hope is through Sun promotion we get the same holiday (more or less) but for less money

Bit of advice needed, do I book Butlins Skegness via the Sun or book with Butlins directly? I can get a mid-week break at Butlins in October in gold accomodation for under £200. With the Sun the charges that I am aware of are £9.50 x 4 (although its only two of us, we need to pay for four), £8.95 service charge each day (£35), entertainment passes (£?), bedlinen (£?) - anything else? Just seems to add up quickly and I am guessing it you book via the Sun, you are going to get the basic accommodation - unless you can upgrade to gold?

Hi all
Has anyone ells had the same problem as me?
I Called Pontins camber Sands to pay service charge before we arrive this Friday and the rep told me there is £138 supplement out standing for half board I explained I have not requested half board and cannot afford the extra, i booked a standard self-catering room.
Because the Sun could not give us our original requested holiday they offered us an alternative and this was done via Sun holiday website witch I found to be a bit confusing
The Sun are saying we should have unchecked the box saying half board so that we only get self-catering to my memory, I did this but they are saying I did not in further conversation with Pontins they explained this misunderstanding is probably due to confusing online booking form I filled in with the sun. Pontins are being very helpful and are trying to find us a self-catering room, the Sun have washed their hand of me and do not want to now.
Please tell me did this happen to anyone else?

Hi, i sent a cheque to book Sun holidays and the money has been debited out of my account. Does this mean I have a confirmed booking?

Has anyone been to le Chene Gris before, will i have to pay any extras for bedding etc?

I think the service charge is £7 pupn, will there be anything extra and will I have to pay here or when I arrive?

Hi. We are going here in october with the sun. You dont have to pay for bedding,- you can take your own, just like the uk sun hols. entertainment passes are not charged for on the european sites generally, so the only extras will be the service charge. You usually pay the balance via cheque or over the phone before you go.

Hi there, is anyone still waiting for confirmation???? I sent mine off as soon as I could with all of the tokens, which was way back at the begining of July, still not had anything through the post or e-mail??? Planning to go hopefully begining of sept so cutting it a bit fine to book of work.We went last year and had the confirmation by now????

try calling the parks you put down,to see if you have been successful

Ive received my Sun holiday booking information and although we thought it was £9.50 each so a min cost of £38, £39.90 has been taken from my bank.

The Pontins booking confirmation states £38 has been received so is the rest a booking fee??
