Check your water bills!

Hi
I think my mum has caught the moneysaving bug after I got her the book for Xmas - she's just been given a big refund after having her house rebanded for council tax and it's backdated for ten years or so.

Just recently she checked the back of her water bill and noticed in small print that it says that if your surface waste water is not connected to the main system, you can have a rebate of £17.50 on your annual bill.

You need to hurry though as they apparently only do it for the current year - although she is looking into ways to get it backdated - if anyone has any tips on this it would be good to hear. Would small claims court be the best option?

Hope this helps someone
