20 reasons never to fly Ryanair

It would be interesting to see if say BA had exactly the same product and price as Ryainair - who would still fly Ryanair.
But then thats not likely to happen and O Leary knows this. I remember some years ago an interview he did. Essentially he said that it was not possible to please everyone, but what he could do was replace the unhappy customers with new customers.
Which - going by the company details - seems to to be working year after year when almost every other global airline is suffering - Ryainair is thriving.0 -
Given exactly the same product/price/service, Ryanair have a better punctuality record and also a better record in not losing bags. The whole setup is geared towards fast turn-around.
Uganda - you say you have used them many times so surely you know the restrictions? Visa Electron does not involve a surcharge. Airport check in costs money. Overweight baggage costs money.
There are clear rules. I have not seen people get turned back from the gate, but it certainly is possible. But then again, surely it is the customers responsibility to make sure that their hand luggage is in the correct dimensions and correct weight? There are means of measuring that before security without any ambiguity. There is a big FAQ section on the website, there is no deception as long as you read first, then book.
There are too many people who book first and then cry foul. I am sure O'Leary would have some nice words to describe them.
But of course, it's easy to blame Ryanair for that. Once, I had overweight bags. But, I can accept that this was my fault. If I knew I was borderline to the requirements, I would check before security.
Some people want someone to blame all the time.
As for your current trip - surely you can understand that Ryanair desire the most profitable customers. As someone travelling with an infant, you don't fit that profile any more. Therefore, without saying it in so many words, they'd rather push you onto their competitors. Already I can sense it'd probably be cheaper for you to fly with another airline, albeit from another airport.0 -
I'm not at all surprised Ryanair have an excellent record for not losing bags - they hardly carry any hold bags, do they!0

I don't know that they lose less baggage than any other airline, but they certainly are one of the lowest. This is confirmed by the AUC.Gone ... or have I?0 -
