Good morning all, hope you are all well.

We have been to church, DD has gone to mums for dinner.

I have hoovered through downstairs and am now cooking potatos and cauliflower for the freezer, ready for cauliflwer cheese and cheese and potato pie in a hurry. Also grated half the cheese for the same thigs.
I need to take some stuff up to school for the boot sale, so gonna have a cuppa and clean up the kitchen (I make such a mess when cooking!!!)

    SS have a good day
Rose, I am planning to walk to school in the morning(weather permitting), if you are about, and mabe walk up at lunchtime too?
Hugs for all esp Toots and Pigpen for all the work you put into the thread.

Right kettle to go on now.......

Quillion - I had a sneaky peak at the bonnets on facebook - well done you - they're brilliant!
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • Well, back from cleaning and we HAVE to have a word with our cleaners - it was disgusting, EVERY light switch, plug socket, radiator, shelf, etc was filthy and hadn't been done for MONTHS! - fed up with the excuses for them now, we need to address it as if I was a customer I would not be happy.

Just catching up on the motor racing - know the result, just want to watch it!!! :j :j :j

Flower - the castle Grand Designs is one of my favourite ones. It is one of the few things I do watch.

It was beautiful, I was wondering how they were going to make some of it work - the bits that they had to do, but the mix of old and new worked really well together, and I love the way you can see the difference in builds because it's great to see the history of a building - but when that wall fell down  it really was just a ruin when they got there wasn't it. (loved the parapits too, stone was absolutly gorgeous, but think that might be the secret princess who wants to live in a castle in me! :D )

Flower - Denise van Outen (Basildon Blondes both!)
Ah yes Valli, but I'm a brunette now (change my hair like the weather me)! (blonde at heart though... ;) ) Although I must admit, Sigourney Weaver is just how I imagine Soappie - Alien fighter and all round nice person! :D

Funfairprincess - 4ft, glaswegian accent, wears child's clothes - how about Janette Tough from the Krankies? :D
Don't know about the accent, but what about Lulu?

ETA - See someones already said that... :o

Good news with the regards to the pains they have finally gone, although I did get a twinge this afternoon when I was helping hubby lift something from his back bedroom. When will I learn!! Now I am starting to feel depressed and tired. Unfortunately I missed a couple of days of my "happy pills" and mood stabilisers this week and it is noticing I have managed to put on half a stone from nowhere since these darn pains started and it is making me even more depressed as I feel fat and frumpy now.. I seem to be on one of my "low" times, still being on a good sprial never lasts long with me

Sorry to hear you are feeling so low. Make sure you keep taking your pills – missing even one can make you feel rough. Why not try to have a little walk if you feel up to it? This is my new goal – to have a little walk every day cos this will help my depression and anxiety problems. Why not join me? Toochoosey and Lil_me are going to join in too!
I would love to join you on the days I am at home. I need to walk the dogs more often too as well as improve my own health, so it would be great for me, especially now the sunnier weather is here, which is really great to cheer you up (I'm taking vitamin D as a top up too which is really helping now it's kicking in)

Have just watched the end of the race as I've been typing this, SOOOOO emotional, OK, I'm sad, but it was, really chuffed to bits... :j :j :j

    Sexy
Sexy Lexy was Miss Lexington (in about 1978) cute, blonde, bright and
the subject of many a teenage crush...

    Boddy
Penelope Wilton? That actress Stephanie (not Stephanie Beacham) who did a Talking Heads for Alan Bennett?
ETA Stephanie Cole - she has a glint in her eye! Maureen Lipman?

Ooo Dragon - I like yours!

On reflection I'd better be Jo Brand lol

I am somewhat perplexed - after yesterday's showers I had though we were in for more of the same so I used the TD
Anyway - lots of ironing done already and jumpers on the line!

OOh short Scots people - Annette Crosbie does a good accent and is not yet cast!
    ***clunk***
    ***gets up off floor***
One of you could be played by Ronnie Corbett
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    a) sponsor you
    b) put you up

you write a blog about your Flying Visits...it becomes a film (Toots is played by Julia Roberts/Beyonce/Kate Winslett/Halle Berry - you choose)
Valli is played by Cameron Diaz (They could be twins) or Jane Horrocks - for the accent lol
Triker - bit of a maverick - Zoey Deschanel
Pigpen - **casting director rubs chin*** ~~~~petite~~~~ would Penelope Cruz do?
    Soappie - Sigourney Weaver/Susan Sarandon/Callista Flockhart

Sexy - Sexy lexy from Grange Hill LOL
    Serena
ETA Natty - Dawn French (her idea, not mine, see subsequent post)
ETA Funfairprincess (debated subsequently- this is an edit) Lulu
ETA Nikki - Cilla Black (well scouse!) could be Lily Savage lol
ETA Lady Liberty - Norah Batty (aka Kathy Staff!) (not possible as she is now the late great Kathy Staff)
ETA SarahShattered - Angelina Jolie (all Flyladies impressed with Sarah's OH's casting suggestion - good boy!)

I have had enough - add your name (if I have missed you) and preferred 'star' to the list.

Oh by the way, obviously I will be consultant on this epic and it will be VERY necessary for me to liaise with Messrs Depp and Clooney and explain the intricacies of peg matching to them both (separately!) in order to enhance (erm) the artistic nature and general Fly-ness of this mega epic...and top ensure things are [strike]inserted[/strike] put where they should be!
    ***sigh***
    I have work to do!

Please note this has been edited....

The Dragon - back stage OR Geraldine James!
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D
