Lady-Liberty wrote: »Wow! Thanks greenbee you are ahead of me, hadn't spotted that one, our recycling bins are improving as from April we can add tetra paks & tin foil which is good.........then the only things I have to go to an outside (ie: not kerb collection) for will be glass & clothing, why they don't take glass I don't know.........but I'm sure you do?!
I'll have to start visiting you and sexymouse... I currently send my tetrapaks back to my parents in Norfolk. Our recycling is hopeless... paper, card, cans, plastic bottles and that's it. Glass, foil, books, shoes and clothes at the community centre. I have to take all batteries, electrical stuff etc to the tip (in the next county, as ours is hopeless).
Some local authorities do glass in kerbside collections, but it depends on what vehicles they use (i.e. with separate storage for glass) or what sorting facilities they use, as glass can only go to places being machine sorted rather than hand. Even then, it depends on the sophistication of the process.
This is quite good site for explaining it!

Oh nightmare! Why do people do that?? I'm just glad I wasnt ignoring you. I find it difficult to keep with everyone on facebook0 -
Somebody very kind, naming no names (starts with T and ends with oots) has explained how to post in colour and change font size.
So please excuse me while I have a little play!
I sat outside for a while reading the Sunday paper magazine but I got too hot and had to come back indoors - a bit different to yesterday!
Well, I've worked out the colour but I can't see how to do the size - I don't seem to have a "2" with an arrow by it. Can't see for looking me.........:D
Oh, and my washing is dry and I've put it all away.0 -
Pollybear you need to GO ADVANCED to change size.
Then next to the fonts you will see size .

By George she's got it!
(The question is, will she remember it? :rotfl: )
thank you0 -
well done Pollybear. Know what you mean about remember it.
DS has gone of to bed again  Could be a long night tonight as not sure he will be tired and bedtime.
really want to do something but have realised DD is the problem as she wants to follow me everywhere. No use tidying the living room as she will want her toys etc out in 5 mins so that will have to wait until Pigpen puts living room list *(although I do give it a quick tidy each night)January Grocery 11/3740 -
