I've flyladied my car! It's been emptied of all its junk, hoovered out inside (OH did that bit!) cleaned thoroughly (even the manky bits inside the doors and round the edges of the boot lid) and dried using a chamois. The windows have all been polished, and the alloy wheels given a clean. She looks absolutely sparkling now - and now it's clouded over and looks like it's going to rain! Never mind - at least she'll be clean and wet rather than dirty and wet! The inside of the boot is all tidy too and just waiting to take all our bags and bits and bobs when we go on Thursday.
Next job I think is to get another load of washing through and then sort out all the camera gear to go with us.......🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hello, I'm back from the boot sale, only bought a couple of DVD's so not bad.
I'm still printing off list fro OrganizedHome, hope I actually use them!!! I will have to find some sort of system, I really need to sit down and write down all the things that need doing and give them a time(like a rota) instead of sitting here thinking about them!!!(I also need to rota in study time, exam in June and the books don't seem to leave their bag!!!)0 -

I've spent weeks tracking down a Microwave that I liked/had the specs I wanted, lugged it half a mile to the car from Argos, unpacked it at home, it doesn't look anything like the one online (I checked, it is) and some bright spark at the factory put a sticker with glue on it right the way across the front of the mirrored door, which I've spent 25 minutes cleaning off, only to be left with a square of scratch marks, I'm past fuming now *cries* will they take it back even though technically I'm the one that damaged it?0

Sorry crafty...I didnt see that on the edited list.0 -
I wouldn't have thought so embb, maybe cotact Argos head office(or the manufacturer) and complain, they do tend to pt the stickers in sill places(I had one covering the mileage on the car, That is scratched now too, though only a lttle, I ended up using white spirit instead).
Sorry xx0 -
Back on track today after couldn't be bothered attitude yesterday!
Floor swept and mopped and waiting for it to dry in kitchen and bathroom.
Wii brought back home and connected back up tidily in place.
Unpacked and clothes and toilettries put back in place
Outside swept up tidily
Paperwork filed away
Work bag ready for tomorrow and luch takenout of the freezer and into fridge to defrost for tomorrow
Work outfit sorted out ready
All work stuff done early as it is my first day back and it will be a shock to the system for sure!
Dog blankets in washer again due to go on the line in a little while, my washing on the line already with some bathmats that are still drying from Thurs or Fri!
Then off to bake a cake and some biscuits and take something out of the freezer to go in the SC tomorrow.
Really really hoping I can keep on track when I return to work as I have been doing this for a month or so now and the house looks a lot better and takes much less time to clean (apart from the dreaded inside of the oven which stays clean until I use it and then it billows out fat smoke everywhere!)
Determined to do at least 2 levels a day will have to see what is on the list and which room it is as I can blast quickly though most of them!
Keeping my fingers crossed I can maintain it. I am enjoying mopping the floor once or twice a week (afterwards!) as it is clean, looks clean for a couple of minutes until the dogs get their paws on it and there is much less dog hair around. The windows are sparkly for the first time since I moved in and the kitchen looks brighter (in spite of needing a major renovation!)
Thanks for all the support this thread give and smiles and tears as we all live our lives in the rollercoaster way they go on.
Special big hugs to Toots for the kicks up the bum she gives despite everything that is going on for her and to Piggers for the lists and the inspiration this commitment brings.

Can't you plug the lappy into the car Flower, you can get a power converter that plugs into the lighter socket and gives you a 3 pin plug socket. Would be handy for other things. Some come with 2 plug sockets so you can print as well:D
Now watching a recording of the race - OH doesn't know who won yet:rotfl:
Ohhh, that sounds good - mind you, I'm normally driving so probably not a good idea...I really need a new battery anyway, it would be great on a train or cafe and such where I have no sockets...
Bet he cheers at the end! :rotfl: Hope I didn't give it away earlier and spoil it for you, sorry if I did.
