Hi to all - hope you had a good weekend - i did. :D Didnt do much to be honest but am feeling really good about all im achieving in the house and all the jobs ive been wanting to do forever, im actually getting round to. :j Anyone still lurking on this thread and thinking about joining please do - in babysteps its amazing what you can achieve. Welcome to all the newbies - do a little bit at a time, five mins here and there and you will soon notice the difference and be so glad you joined.

Im no longer embarrassed when someone knocks on my door, :T but without a doubt my kitchen is the biggest challenge. Am going to clean out my cupboards soon and do a proper stocktake and try and find a home for everything to avoid the constant clutter. My kitchen only really has three cupboards for food and dishes etc, so its going to be an ongoing battle - but i will win in the end. :D I wanted to do it in the weekend list, but i didnt manage.

For the first time this year, i hung my laundry outside after cleaning my whirly (albeit its still lopsided). Bought myself new pegs as the other ones were very old and weathered! Havent made my snazzy new peg bag, but may try today. I hung my laundry out with matching pegs to see if I can understand the phenomenon - dont knock it till you've tried it they say ;) . But i still dont think i fully get why this is so important to some people, although i will admit it does look very pretty on the line. A tad OCD if you ask me though....:rotfl:

I thoroughly hoovered the inside of my car - cleaned all the doors and dashboard etc with Stardrops solution that i now use for everything and it looks fab!!! Even if i do say so myself :D My uncle came by and asked if i was steam cleaning the engine while i was at it. He said I dont do half a job!!

soappie - big hugs, im poorly too and off work today so not sure how much flying will be done here either! On top of being a regular visitor to my bathroom like you, my head is absolutely thumping and my whiplash is playing up too - im aching and feeling very sorry for myself. I dont know whether to get up and have a shower to see how i feel or stay in bed and sleep all day. On a lighter note, please bring Beffy-Boo to Southampton!!! I want to come but would be bringing my little boy with me if thats ok with everyone, he would love it if there was a dog!! :D

Twinmummy - :bdaycake: Happy birthday for yesterday - hope you had a lovely day xxx

froddington - have Pm'd you about meeting in Southampton. Id like to come with DS who is 7 - if thats ok with everyone.

PIGPEN - Thanks for the lists. My house is actually looking pretty good - keeping on top of the house, and the ladies and gents on here, have given me both the time and the motivation to start on my garden!!! (im so glad the google van aint been round here yet!!) I would never have gotten this far without this thread and your lists - so again - thanks!!!

Toots - We miss you - but take it easy, dont rush back if you dont feel up to it. We would rather you looked after yourself first, as much as we miss you on here. Lots of love n hugs coming your way. xxx

Im sure there were others i wanted to say something too - but ive forgotten now - sorry! Oh yeah - Congratulations Kassey

OK just had my first HHC and nearly spent half that time putting washing on line and then chasing it down the path LOL very windy out there!! but had a good run around inside too and did a quick once over in the rooms that arent on list today.

Kazwookie I know its a nightmare 'me' forgetting his kit LOL he is 8 but isnt very good at remembering things.......its one of the reasons I'm on here......my theory is if I get organised and the place is tidy then it will help him:confused:

My house is a mess, I need to get organised. We're going on holiday a week on Friday so want the house spotless before I go and I am so determined to succeed. Problem is I am so easily sidetracked and get the 'I can't be bothered attitude'! NOT GOOD.

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is to stick to the flylady list and have a clean house!!

Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

flybabybunting I can guarantee if you stick to the lists for a week your house will be spotless :)

My WM is leaking, from the door by the looks of it grrrrrr I didn't send off the guarantee thing it was on my 'to do' list :o so will they still fix it?

I've deleted what I've done on my lists (makes it tidier lol) here's what's left to do, I'm pleased with what I've done so far, but I really need to do my car cause everytime I look at it I squirm with embarassment - it's HACKY!
