Threw up in the night. Went back to bed. Just got up and threw up again. I think it's going to be a lying down day today!

I'm in again, got quite a lot done yesterday as OH moved some bookcases from the bedroom into the study (DS's old room) so now the bedroom looks huge.

OH has set off for his first day at his new contract in Rotherham - hope he enjoys it cos it's a long way to travel if he doesn't.

Off to work in a mo, need to remember to fill up the car on the way home and dump the tetra packs in the recycling bin on the way home - that should clear up some space!!

Thanks or the list Pigpen - the lounge is looking better every week.
Look forward to hearing from Toots this evening.

Hi, been watching thread for a few weeks (just warming up to the idea;-) then last week did level one but still finding it very hard/near on impossible!! I really have trouble just keeping up with the daily stuff!

I work 3 sometimes 4 days a week and they are long days and often out a few evenings a week...not sure how you all do it.....just fed up of losing things and falling over things........also DS really has to have routine and structure which neither me or DD do.....so its really for his sake im trying to get my act together......help!!!!

Morning Aimme and welcome to the thread. I know Toots is offline at the moment but I'm sure she is raring to go and will send you a lovely welcome PM when she's back.

The lists are there as a guide, not a to-do list, and there are a lot of us who work long or weird hours and just try to fit in what we can - HHC's are great, you can get so much done in half an hour - can you involve your DD & DS? kids love it (older ones not so much  :D ) and it's just getting that routine going, which takes time. But once you start, keeping on top of it is not so hard, as it seems to get easier - I think it is the clutter not being there that helps, so maybe start with that?

You'll get loads of help on here, everyone is great even though you may not be able to keep up with the thread, just jump back in as and when you can, no-one minds at all. Good luck!

Happy Birthday for yesterday TwinMummy... :j :bdaycake:

  • Juliejim, break a leg, hope the observation goes well

soappie fervently hoping you will feel better, being sick is the worst kind of ill, at least of the "everyday" illnesses.

I'm in this week, although "could do better"

Also praying for Toots could anyone be more missed than she is?

    Morning all

DH put the computer on before he went to work. I normally try not to turn it on until I've done my housework or else I just sit here......

Anyway. One load of washing out on the line, it's bright at the moment but a cold wind and rain is forecast for this afternoon.

So now I'm going to start my kitchen and not sit down here again until it's done!

    Back later.
