  • Im thinking of going to Australia in the next year. This may sound stupid, but the two reasons i've put it off is because i have a big fear of spiders and im also not a great flyer...what is the flight like and is it common to see alot of spiders walking around?

    :]

If you aren't a good flyer consider flying to Perth via Dubai on Emirates because Dubai is nearly half way to Perth. Fly UK-Dubai and stopover in Dubai and then fly Dubai-Perth, stay in Perth a bit and then do internal flights.
    Does take longer though.

  • That sounds like a good idea, will it make much difference to the price do you think?

I only saw 1 spider in the whole 4 weeks and it was in a dark quiet place, so aviod dark quiet corners! and i'd reckon you'd be ok.

We flew home perth to dubai to glasgow, a 10.5hr flight to dubai then 7ish hrs to glasgow so if short for time it was ok.

Emirates have some good deals just now
