A and L ppi offer,how long to wait?

thanx di hav received 2nd cheque had to ring and chase after it a bit but its now safe in my bank account getting me outta my overdraft thankfully! Bit more news as well received letter y'day from FOS regarding a 3rd loan I complained about back in Nov 2008 and they say A&L are not accepting liability but are prepared to make a goodwill gesture. was a bit confused by this as they didnt say what the offer was but when I rang them to find out exactly what was going on it seems that they will put me in the position I wudda been in had I not paid the PPI which the FOS understands to be a refund of my payments. I am well pleased with this and jst wanna say thanx to all 4help n support on these forums and any1 who is thinking about complaining do it you have nothing to lose its your money get it back!! :)
