He's a pro and does all sorts, chat rooms, down loads movie clips etc.. I'm not really bothered about what he does it's the bill that's my problem.0 -

Maybe you need to be bothered by what he does or else he needs to pay his own bill to see how easily it hits the big time. Unless you can somehow stop him using WAP content the next bill will be just as bad.
Are you in a position to tell him not to use the phone for a few weeks until you can work out how to pay the current bill?

It seems that there's not a lot more you can do other than trying the above suggestions. Maybe if you could get to the root of what it is that he's doing on WAP that could prevent another huge bill next month!"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

He has already stopped using it that's not a problem any more. But referring to the OP it was suggestions with the current bill that I wanted not how to prevent further bills being so large, he is mortified by the bill but is not stupid enough to do it again.
You are also suggesting that he pays his own bill well he is! but we are married with 2 children so the money that comes in is ours not his or mine and obviously money can be put to better use. Please do not reply with any comments about what he is doing as it makes no difference now does it! But what were you suggesting anyway?
To end I would like to thank everyone who have given helpful suggestions for others who have been in the same situation.

look to see if there is a massive wap bundle. Three offer something like 300mb for 50 quid a month.Nice to Save. To save it's ____0

Don't be a fool! DON'T PAY IT!
You had a £50 call credit limit clearly specified and last time I looked WAPs were calls.
The legal position on this is quite clear. Of course, if they think they can rob you (and charging you this for WAP is daylight robbery) then this will insist you pay. But if you pay you are giving a green light and no incentive for them to play by the rules, and O2 certainly don't have any.0 -

Please also remember that people here have taken the time to answer you, it may not be to your liking but they are trying to help and I see no justification for your remark for users to be nice to all moneysavers.

Sorry, but how can anyone possibly justify using WAP that much? I occasionally download songs etc and they cost next to nothing - just point and laugh at OP - no sympathy at all.IF YOU LIKE MY POST PLEASE CLICK "THANK YOU!"

Was under the impression that WAP are DATA calls. Also WAP may be via GPRS, rather than dial up."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0
