if you have any relations going back to grandparents you can get an Irish passport if you live in NI you can also get an Irish passport so the bast*** probably has a British one and an Irish one,I really feel for this lassie what an utter bawbag of a `man?`

This is a terrible thing to have happened to someone, but also points out a need to remind everyone who might be looking for a partner: if someone seems too good to be true - money, good looks, property, etc. - then you can be sure they are. Watch a programme like Judge Judy and it's amazing how quickly women will give someone they don't know very well their bank or credit card details....

I'm sorry to hear the lady lost so much, but at least she didn't lose her life. Good luck in catching the !!!!!!!

I just thought I would give you an update on James Ridley Conman, aka James Armstrong Murray/ aka Clem Shaw / Incredible really, just shows you how popular MSE is. This is the update:

Out of the blue I received a PM from a lady that said she was MARRIED to said Conman James Ridley!! her sad story told in the link below. I obviously told my friend, and they are both in contact and have joined forces to try and catch him!!

It would be wonderful if any MSE members would spread the word via the link below in their Facebook account or Twitter. it would be so fantastic to catch this man(?!!) and bring him to justice, PLEASE try to help.

It is uncertain if he is living in the UK or Spain now, he probably hops between the two countries, he might even be in Ireland as he has an Irish passport. He is probably conning more females out of their homes and money. He must have at least 1 false UK passport, he also has an Irish one. He MUST be caught, please spread the word in anyway you can think of.

I remember a good looking guy trying to chat my mom up, i have never, ever trusted guys who wear suits, act suave and wear shirts and ties, the man who was my dad was a Irish !!!!!, heavy drinking foul mouthed thief but was not a fraudster, i think these suave men are totally fake, that kind of personality is not real to me.
I went to this guys car while he was in our house and i broke his window and robbed his car stereo - then he had the nerve to ask my mom to lend him £20 for a new window, thats when she told him there was no way she was going to date him - finally the true him emerged, a skint money borrower pretending to be something he isn't.

I hope you catch this guy, unfortunately he is not the kind of guy i would ever be friends with i can tell you for a fact i will never have seen him before.

So you don't trust the vast majority of businessmen, salesmen, bank staff etc

People like this are disgusting and obviously have no morals at all. How he can live with himself knowing the misery he brings to others who trust him is beyond me. Please keep us updated with any news!
