Nope. Just got 2 tyres replaced on my fwd runaround (michelin primacy) and paid £15 per tyre less than I did last time round (2 years, 30,000 miles)
I can recommend a place in Cardiff if anyone needs tyres in the area - they really look after their customers.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

Mine are still about the same price. Actually to think about it they have slightly gone up, only by a few pounds. The stupid thing about acting normal is that normal people get into stupid situations.0

That'll teach ya to drive big cars.
My car, 4 branded tyres, £140.
Ok that was a few months ago, but still, next time get a car with smaller tyres.0 -

i have just paid £220 after getting a bolt in my tyre going along the road...it never went flat but made a hell of a noise...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I think popularity as more to do with tyre prices.
My wifes car (225/45 17) are cheaper than just over a year ago.
I suppose with 17" wheels becoming the norm on newer cars it makes the cheaper.
I remember I had a ford cougar and that had an odd tyre size (only two manufacturers did them)
If you purchased the same tyre 1cm wider or narrower they were about £50 cheaper.0 -
Tyres have gone up. That'll be inflation :whistle:0
