poor thing
that's a lot of weight for her to lose, at least with her in hospital they can fully monitor her.

I've just been looking to buy my niece a present for her birthday. She will be 8 and I've never really looked at the stuff available - there is sooooooo much stuff out there for kids!! I ended up buying her a velcro tutu and a little purple felt bag off ebay. I think the seller makes some of the items and had some lovely stuff - wings, wands, hair clips, little bags etc It was a bit of a minefield - I'm not really sure what 7-8 year old girls are into and I didn't want to buy anything branded in case it was too 'baby'.

Bun - have you had your new phone yet? How much is it per month and the deal you're on? I'm still wondering about going back onto a contract and keep gravitating back to the £8.50 per month Virgin deal as that's roughly what I'm spending on PAYG but none of the free phones are any better than the one I have so I'm on the lookout for any fab deals with fab phones.

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

I am reading last night's thread in desperation!0

BB,
I dont get my new phone until Monday-can't WAIT because Ive hated the phone I have now from the word GO!
Because ive been with Orange for years now, I go a 10% on my line rental, and an additional 5% for buying online so Ive got the 'Dolphin' plan-I have unlimited texts and 600 minutes a month and free internet access for £26 a month. We're going to get rid of the land line so it was the best way to go really-Scott has done the same and we are each others 'magic numbers' so we can call each other free for as long as we want as much as we want. Its costing me about the same to call Canada as well so no point in having a land line really!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I've half considered getting rid of my landline. The only thing I think of is that if my family want to call me, then they would be calling a mobile and I don't know if they have that factored in. Saying that though, I only speak to my parents once every 2 weeks or so and my brother and sister a handful of times per year. I did read that not having a landline affects credit scoring once which is another reason I've always shyed away from doing it......it would save me money though as I very rarely use the phone - landline or mobile!!
