scrub that - its only two - I don't speak to me dad...

Mothers day is a bit over rated really..my sis didn't get on with my mother and my sister adopted her daughter and her thoughts tend to think of her birth mother on a day like today.

If we're only talking about the ones we talk to, DH hasnt got any either then

Isnt it a good job we can choose our friends :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Someone on here said recently that Friends are sent as compensation for our families:rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

In that case, my poor DH needs lots of compensation :rotfl:

  • I had dinner at my sisters.

it was ok. well it was nice in many ways I just wish Mum wouldn't make so many "comments" they really hurt. My sis made her card, and I said to mum don't put it on the table by the drinks, and she said ooo yes you might knocks yours over(hers was there too) and looked at me like I was simple and she went on and on and on about how nice the dinner was yet ate her breakfast that i cooked in total slience and ok she said thanks and it was nice but it wasn't in the same way as at my sisters, in fact when she was saying thank you (again) for a lovely day she didn't even mention me and breakfast/kitchen cleaning.

I know I have had work to do, but its alright for my sis, bloke loaded she doesn't have to work and has all the time in !!!!ing world (not that she cooked it was all ready made)

oh well some things NEVER change
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Sounds like you need to put in a compensation claim too Buffy ((( HUGS)))

I keep getting scolded for not having a girl from my MIL, like she would be any better at being a Grandparent anyway:mad: .............and breath.

I really enjoyed watching her try to eat a king prawn with the shell still on yesterday.................:rotfl: :rotfl: :o

I'm glad my parents are nice. I'm going to end up with evil parents in law to compensate aren't I.
