not that I am encouraging you in any way!
I might pop down to my M and S and see what clothes they have work wise first and then come back and order them off here xx
Right- I haven't got as far as the actual website yet. Hurries off.
I was tempted by a pair of pink patents shoes. How mad would that be - I'm far too old for such thing. :rotfl:0 -

This is what I was reminded of!
[SIZE=+1]Warning!
When I am Old
I will wear Purple!
When I am an old woman,
I shall wear purple - -
With a red hat which doesn't go,
and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension
on brandy and summer gloves and satin sandles,
And say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
and gobble up samples in shops
and press alarm bells
and run with my stick along public railings,
and make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
and pick flowers in other people's gardens
and learn to spit!
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
and eat three pounds of sausages at ago,
or only bread and pickles for a week,
and hoard pens and pencils
and beermats and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry,
and pay our rent
and not swear in the street,
and set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner
and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me
are not too shocked and surprised
when suddenly I am old,
And start to wear purple! [SIZE=+0]--Jenny Joseph

I have decided to keep a mood diary to see if there is a pattern or if its just random.
Love the poem:ABut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Crisis averted. Back to being boring old Bookie.0 -
I have a noisy boiler _pale_ It sounds like an almost empty kettle boiling and I've done some reading and apparently it's called kettling and is a limescale or sludge issue where the water is heating and the steam is 'banging' off the limescale in the pipe leading to the boiler and will stop when it finishes heating up.
Hope they are right, it's really noisy at the moment as I type _pale_ It started a couple of evenings ago. Everything is heating up ok but it's a scary noise!!
Might get some Fernox, I used that in my old house when the radiators refused to heat up and it needed all the sludge pushing through.

Yay! Poetry! I like that one too!
I have an interview for an office job on monday, so that's good. Rang my older sister to tell her and she said 'If you get it, I don't want to hear any whinging, you can say you are tired, you can say it was busy today, but nothing else' and that escalated into a mini arguement where I yet again fail to make her understand why I did what I did. I don't mind if she doesn't agree with what I did, but for her to understand would be good. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.
