my friend is getting married, we used to be really close but school this year has kept me very busy and I don't really go out any more so I have hardly seen her.

any how our other friend is doing the wedding prep with her and she hasn't asked me to do anything, and the minute she told me she was engaged I started dreaming about planning etc (cos I never did it with my two friends who are married for various reasons) and she didn't ask me to be a brids maid either.

And I know its silly but I thought we were closer then that, but in fairness to her = I have been busy working every weekend since Christmas(ie havent seen her since last year ), when she had engagement drinks I had to go to the options evening at school so couldn't go. So you know I am asking a bit much.

It made me realise how much my life is like groundhog day, I hardly realised how much time it had been since I had been out with them both, I missed so much.

Buffy, that doesn't mean your priorities are wrong but I can see why you are upset..

Why don't you ask your friend out for a drink just you and her and explain to her how you feel......at least you will be able to say that its nothing personal but just the crappy job that you can't afford to lose....

yeah, I could do. I think I am just being over sensitive, I due on and had a foul week at work, as per normal. I don't even like weddings! and at this moment, since I wont know anyone and will have to (yet again) go by myself I am not planning on going anyway!

I just think I need to get some balance, I never see any one any more!! I have found it really hard the last two times I went out didn't know what to say etc (I was ok in Manc tho, I really liked that and am already looking forward to Leeds!must book hotel )

morning all.

Feel like I've been up hours!

Plan is to sort 1 room per day until I go on holiday as parents are staying here whilst we are away. Main bedroom is dusted/hoovered/vax'd and I just need to change the bedding the day we go. Doing hall today - mats are washing and I'll hoover and possibly vax the carpet at some point today.

Also need to AQA as much as possible because i've been a lazy mare this month and so will be doubly broke next month.

Trying to decide whether to apply for a job which on the face of it fits what I've done, but the job description sounds rather scary. The salary is excellent at 30-34k but I'm thinking it's a jump too far. Even OH said he thought the job description was a weird mixture of stuff.
