Sun holidays from £15 are here again!

We went to pontins southport last year and found similar, but we had extras - swear words etched into the walls - lovely!

Our holiday was free and I enjoyed it, so did the toddler but husband and eldest hated it, and we wouldn't go with the sun, wouldn't pay sun prices for it.

I agree - I would never go to Pontins again but the area was nice

hi, your not the only one going, my family are too. oh well we will just have to wait and see what we think of it.

on my confirmation it says deposit payed £38 but then it says £60 payed and i have just £46 left to pay.

I Managed to get hold of Pontins today and they said they received a disc with the wrong info on it from the Sun. They are resending out invoices today with the deposit stated as £60 paid.

Fingers crossed Pontins isnt too awful - it will just be a base for us to travel around the area, although I am hoping for it not be a health hazard as we are taking our one year old son!

Our chalet wasn't a health hazard. It was clean enough. We all kept hurting ourselves on the bed, but it was okay when folded into a sofa.

The chalets were arranged around squares of grass so the children had grass to play on outside the door and lots of children made friends this way. It did however mean footballs being kicked at your windows and door while you're trying to get a toddler to sleep. You might get that anywhere though. Our square had a tree that was great for climibing, and even better it was all ours because the other parents wouldn't allow their children to get their clothes dirty

There was a soft play area, a park, swimming pool etc. and crazy golf was free.We found lots to do and explored the area. Didn't spend much time in the chalet. I ordered a brochure from the tourist website and it showed places to go, what was on etc.

I have just recieved holiday details we paid £60 I thought that was it but we have to pay 4x service charges at £36 and 1 x bed linen budget £10 ....is that right ? we are going to pontins

hi cazxx1 yes you have to pay the service charge. bed linen is optional if you can take your own you dont have to pay it.
