bridging the Age GAP!!..

ok so i here this topic alot and wanted to know what all you lovely MSE's thot about this ...

... im 21 and my h2b is 35... often i get judged and he gets called a dirty old perv ect.. many ppl think its wrong.. and some dont care, i recently found out one of my friend has the same age gap as me..

so what i wanted to know,.. how do u feel about age gaps and do you have one urself? have u had any major problems with this? how have people reacted?.. tell em your stories...

My grandparents have a 10 year age gap, as does my aunt and uncle. I really don't think anything of it. I would perhaps worry if the girl had only just turned 16 maybe, but at 21 a woman is mature enough to know if someone is right for her.

If the two people in question are happy and love each other, I don't think anyone else has the right to comment on someone else's relationship.

6 years! was initially an issue but all ok now, we've been together for a while and getting married next month!

ive always had an age gap tbh.when i was like 16.. i was going out with someone 6years older then me, and also had someone 10years older than me wanting to go there.. but we agreed not to lol..
my mother always gave me crap for it.. but mum n dad had 5years between them, mum and new step-dad have almost 9... and there's a few others im gonna leave out to be nice

but yea, i get on with older men better, so much more conversation.. less time on games consols and there hard working loving stable men.. mine treats me like a queen!

I'm 27 this year and OH will be 42 this year so 15 year age gap! To be honest I don't really notice (they can still be immature at 42!) the age difference. Only if we have to write down our dates of birth does is seem alot! I'm 1982 and he is 1967! Also, he most definately does not look as though he is 42 so it's easy to forget that he is!

At the end of the day we are happy and love each other. He is stable, reliable and trustworthy. My DD was 1 when we got together and he accepted her and loves her as his own making no difference between her and our DS. I know it sounds mushy but he's a good 'un!

IMO age is only a number!

It gets easier as you get older. I have a toy boy and I love it. Thing is, he looks older than me and gets quite upset when people age him the same as me or older lol.

My OH is twenty years older than me. Not a problem for us, our friends or many people we have met over the years.

My h2b is 8 years older than me we never notice it all our friends just fink hes same age as me

so thats a 14 yr age gap.. i think its every1 to there own ....
my mate is 22 goes with a 38 yr old, has a 12yr old stepdaugther at 2 kida under 3.... i think that must be hard
my other mate receintly split from hubby and they had a 13 yr age gap..she said shes been with him for about 5 yrs and loved him and every1 always said age gap would cathc up on them and she said it finally did...

it would be strange being 40 and ur hubby 60 i feel but thatsjust me

my parents have a 15yr age gap doesn't bother me, it bothered my dad's mum though..
My OH is 5 years older than me not an issue i don't think although if i was a couple of years younger my mum wouldn't be impressed
