We used the Guardian 50% voucher at the Durham branch last Wednesday.
We chose the set menu and the two of us struggled to eat everything!
Excellent food and friendly service.0 -
Used the 50% off voucher in La Tasca Covent Garden last night. The food and service was fab and the voucher was accepted without question. Table of 8 less than £10 per head including a drink each. Great value0

£26 for more than we could eat and a pint of lager each. We had the set menu and a separate prawn dish. It was delicious and the atmosphere - Cardiff- was very nice. Staff didn't treat us any differently with the voucher, they were very nice. I would def go again... although wouldn't have been so happy to pay £46 for the experience.0

I knew there would be a creamy one... I was too full to even look at the pudding menu!0 -
are the waiters obliged to mention the lunchtime 5 dishes for £10 offer?
i went to my local la tasca the other lunchtime. waiter just gave us the standard menu. no mention of any lunch deals. got back to work, where a collegue asked if we'd had the 5 for £10 deal. first i'd heard of it. wasnt happy, as all the dishes we'd ordered were included in the lunch special!0 -
Does anyone know if this deal is being renewed? It ended yesterday I beleive?0

The 50% off voucher says "over 18s only" as a T&C. I take it this means only the person paying the bill - or does this stop me going with my wife and 4 year old son on a Saturday lunchtime?0

Hi I have been to La Tasca twice and used the voucher both times. No trouble in using them. In the summer with my friend and 9 yr old daughter at dinner time in The Trafford Centre and then again last Friday night with hubby and another couple, in Harrogate. Very friendly staff and the food was lovely. Saved nearly £40 on Friday, so was made up with that!:j
I will now only go to a restaurant when I get a voucher off this site, good excuse to go out and use them;)0 -
the food was poor, giving poor value for 50% off.I think this promo was used to get rid of unfresh and reheated food.the peroni was overpriced,so there wasnt any saving made.
the impersonal service made us feel we were on a conveyor belt,
Avoid this restaurant unless you have money to burn or love poorly cooked and served food0 -
Yeah sadly I had an awful time at a La Tasca whilst on holiday. The food could well have been heated with a candle it was that tepid and I payed for it in the middle of the night when I was violently sick. It was still quite pricy with 50% off I agree, it's a shame, I think I was expecting the food to be on a par with Las iguanas, but it's not really the same thing and isn't as good quality.
Sorry La Tasca fans, I just had a baaaad mealand I was shoved in a dark corner too after being moved out of a seat I chose because of a reservation, but for the whole of the meal I believe the seat stayed empty  can't remember fully
