    I've just been reading that Paypal sucks site - very interesting. Paypal/Ebay really are becoming an illegal monopoly - they do (or don't do)a lot of things I wasn't aware of.

    Ebay charge a £15 fee but paypal don't, so I'm not sure where all the £15 mentions are coming from.

    Going through the dispute centre on paypal as though I wa smaking a claim still doesn't bring up any mention of a payment:

    I agree

    In the couple of paypal disputes I have started in the last couple of months (new sellers describing items of clothing as perfect that then arrive with damage / wash bobbling etc) I have never been charged the £15 or I would never have started the complaints as each time the item was under £15 and I have recieved refunds (partial and full)

    and of Soolin is correct in the start NPB process asap - wait for the item and see exactly what the damage is - I wonder if they bought it for an event and now they have worn it they dont want to wear it again (ala Marks & Spencers refunds)

    Both of the paypal complaints i have won i got charged £15 !!!! even though on one i never recieved the item would have been better doing a credit card charge back instead. :mad: :mad:

    Mmmm, I wonder if that might work. The Daily Mail article yesterday about Paypal said they are governed by the FSA regs so it is worth a try.

    gilly41. as soon as paypal have refunded her make sure you start the NPB on her, it is allowed and the NPB will go through. At least that way you get your FVFs back and it might make her think twice about trying this again.

    Just for future referance what do NPB & FVF's mean? :confused:

    NPB = Non paying bidder

    FVF= Final Value fees

    Sorry, we tend to abbreviate everything on here!

    I thought that didn't apply to them because technically they're not a bank? Maybe I'm confusing the FSA with something else.

    The FSA is the Financial services authorities, so not just limited to banks.
