I limit my ebay selling to two short bursts a year.
I really can`t stand it more than that - I`m coming to a premature end of one of my stints at the moment - thanks to a scammer.
In six months time, I`ll have forgotten what a pain it all is and start again.0 -

That's how I do ebay. I do a fortnight twice a year... usually listing twice a week. I like this bulk method too... it means all the photos are taken at the same time, all the wrapping and packing and just a fortnight of regular trips to the post office.
Although I got a bit keen on the car boot sale thread today and have decided that we might have enough stuff (hasn't been sorted into charity shop versus ebay piles yet and there's more bulky items that might be suitable too plus we're overdue an annual de-clutter) to try out our selling skills at a new outlet!!!0 -

I don't understand why you think a seller leaving negative feedback in these circumstances would have made a difference.
So you had two buyers who never received their goods and because they complained via feedback you would have left them negatives, thus probably losing two innocent customers from Ebay and other sellers.
For the latter 'problem', if item was as described then whoever you are reported to it won't make a difference, its unlikely Ebay will do anything anyway.
I'm guessing you mean a 'buyer' - and well it's kind of upsetting to be left a neg feedback or neutral when you've refunded their money and sorted the problem out. And yes I WOULD have left neg feedback for them.......why not? And actually I DID state the game had no instructions, the buyer didn't read it properly. He has since realised this (after I kindly pointed out to him what the listing said) and has withdrawn his threat!Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -
I think what can be incredibly frustrating is ebay's virtually complete lack of interest in resolving these problems.
I recently ordered some CK men's undies from an ebay power seller who had almost perfect feedback. To cut a long story short, the undies were counter-feit. When I raised the matter with ebay they were entirely unbothered. The advice they gave was to essentially to sort it myself. In the end, I did.
If they are so unconcerened with dealing with counter-feit goods, I guess a negative feedback to a seller isn't going to get anyone out of the pub at a lunchtime to sort out."I am not young enough to know everything." Oscar Wilde0 -
No, I meant it as written. You didn't resolve the problem, as the buyer never received item purchased. Whilst this wasn't necessarily your fault, it most definitely was not the fault of the buyer and I still fail to see why you think they should get negative feedback which would ultimately most likely stop them buying from anyone else on Ebay.I'm guessing you mean a 'buyer' - and well it's kind of upsetting to be left a neg feedback or neutral when you've refunded their money and sorted the problem out. Probably best to drop this - ok?? It's not meant to be a slanging match.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -

Did you contact CK themselves to let them know how lax and unbothered Ebay were? Might light a fire under 'em.0
