I'm not looking forward to today. That thing that I've not done since 1998 is in a bit
If you're talking about what I think you're talking about that's roughly when my last one was too...

It's all over really quickly though - the anticipation is definitely worse than the actual event...

I always find the thinking and waiting is worse than the actual 'deed' which is over quite quickly.

    Good Luck

I probably am. My last one was a 'surprise' at my post natal check up - be warned :o;)

awww thanks guys, i'm surprising myself to be honest!

Spud - it'll be fine, nothing to worry about... and these nurses are really not that interested in our bits anyway, they just get on with the job....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Morning All! Glad to see some much positivity today! I'm loving the quotes! I'm feeling positive today too, not only coz it's nearly the weekend, not only coz 'She's Electric' by Oasis was just on the radio, not only coz I lost 1.5lb last night (woo hoo!), but also because Spring starts this weekend, the mornings and evenings are getting lighter and the weather is lovely! Bit chilly in teh mornings still, but the sun is coming!!

    Safe journey Len
Glad to hear you got some inspiration last night Bookie and I hope you get through your list today!
Well done Maz on the weight loss - you're doing so so well!
Numpty - google street view looks so cool! Can't wait to spend far too much time scanning the streets! I used to live in Derby, so will go and have a look at that and apparently on a street in London there was a bicycle crash taking place as the photos were taken, so that sounds interesting!!
Spud - Good Luck! I had to have 1 every year for 5 years coz they found not nice stuff, so it's very important to have it done. Thankfully she got the nastiness out in one swift, uncomfortable movement!!
    Luc - enjoy your visitors!
Hi to Sally, I_A and tenmah - hope you have a good day!

Should be around for most of the morning, then a meeting this pm - what a way to start the weekend! QBx

I'm forewarned - the doc already said they won't do that at my 6 week as there may be other stuff still affecting results but I should make an appointment while I'm there. I would have to say, having had 2 sweeps, three pessaries, 4 'checks' and a forceps delivery it no longer holds any power to unnerve me...:rotfl:
