What's this about Economy 7? I have a that but don't use much electric in those hours.

Lou - too early for bedding plants unless you have a greenhouse - frost and sleet forcast here next week. Plus everything is dearer this week because of Mothering Sunday. I just looked at some Primroses to do a hanging basket but will leave until after Sunday!

Good point Bookie, I will leave it till next week. I fancy some hyacinths for the windowsil as I love the smell.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Morning all - it's nearly the weekend! :j

Got the afternoon off so am attempting to do as little as possible before 1pm ;) Just did a big Boots shop online but not checked out yet as I can't decide if I've got the patience to wait 4 days for delivery :o :rotfl:

QB - well done on your loss this week! knew you could do it!!

sally - well, did ya? or is it later? Well done on the 2lbs hun! plus the increased milage will need extra fuel..!

OK, have decided to send my massive online order, means I don't have to go looking for stuff that might not be in stock in shop, plus saves me time, stops me impulse buying, and I get the excitement of opening a big box.. spent nearly £45 though which looks rather scary!

Hey Squizz - is there anything exciting in your order?! Did you get free P+P? And dont' forget there'll be lots of advantage card points from that, plus did you go through quidco to get some cashback? PLus even if the items aren't exciting, they'll get used won't they, but it's just spending £45 in one go!!

Got advantage card points and free P&P but couldn't see them on Quidco anymore - nothing particularly exciting, I just seem to have run out of everything at once.. so there was LOTS of shampoo & conditioner, facewash, moisturiser, spot cream for my evil teenage-like skin, foundation, deodorant, hair dye, eye make-up remover cos I keep waking up with mascara still there even when I think I've taken it all off :o .. treated myself to some deep conditioning hair stuff and serum... got some good deals with money off etc, Pantene stuff on 2 for £4.... still, I know what you mean Maz, couldn't believe how it all added up  Mind you, if I'd gone into the shop I know I'd have gone "oh yes, of course I need that lip gloss....." as well :rotfl:

Oh that's a shame they're not on quidco. I was brassed off that Best Western were on there and I didn't think to look when we book a 2 nights stay - that's £9.90 we could've had back - oh well!

But the thing is, you won't need to buy anything like that for ages, so it all balances out I'm sure! Just make sure you don't go into a Boots for a while now, otherwise you will end up buying that lip gloss!!!

That is a pain when you find out about cashback afterwards!

I'm going nowhere near the place, between that lot and all the bath stuff I still have from Christmas I shouldn't need anything for ages. And I tidied up all my make-up the other week - believe me I do not need lip gloss!! :o
