does anyone know how to add music from a cd i have a james blunt cd which i want to add to the slide show it comes up as windows media audio file and wont let me drag it in .... it will let me put mp3's in, how do i change a cd to mp3 pleeeez

Hi
If you have Media Player 10, this will do it for you, just open it up and click Rip

PS Or you could also use this, if you don't have mp10

i already have the cd ripped to wmp 10 how do i get it onto the slide show, (sorry i'm not that techie minded) also how am i able to do that on nero, the only thing i know what to do on nero is burn cd's/dvd's and just learnt to make a slide show:rotfl: nearly:D

Did you rip your cd to mp3s, if you have, can't you just drag your mp3s into Nero slide show.

I use Nero 7, so I can't remember if Nero 6 has the Nero StartSmart if it does, go into that and choose Audio, Convert Audio CD's to Audio files and away you go.
If it doesn't have startsmart, Go to Nero, Choose Nero Burning Rom and open that up, at the top, there should be a link for Extras, click on that and then choose Encode Files, this opens another window where you can add your files that you want to convert to mp3, here you can also choose the bitrate that you want and where to save your files

yes i had already ripped the cd to wmp 10 but it still wont let me drag them onto slide show i even tried starstmart and nero but it says file not supported i'm a bit bamboozled ive even saved the cd to my documents and it says the file is wma how come any ideas?

Go to wm10, on the right hand side theres an arrow pointing down, click on that, Go to Tools, Options, Rip Music, look at Rip Settings, Format, change the format to mp3 and underneath you have a slider, so you can change your bitrate settings.

well there's me thinking i had it sorted........ i know how to add photos and music
i wanna make a slideshow video cd for my mum in law, but i click burn after adding all the pics i want and the music i want, its not too much for the disc either i still have loads of space left
i see all the photos skipping thru, then burn process complete, then nothing but the title page comes on, any ideas wot i'm doing wrong again..................... its getting me down now
