Dear me, a picture of a mother with her kids - that's terrible. What is the world coming to?You obviously don't know what some weird people get up to.
I'd imagine the people you're talking about have managed to get their kicks before google street maps came out, and don't need to trawl the google streets in search of titillation.

Post of the day. I find it amazing how some people will be scaremongered into believing anything. They covered this story on the radio sighting privacy concerns and I don't see the big deal. The americans have had this stuff for years, its about time google brought it over here.
P.S I'll remember to where a plastic bag over my head next time I'm in my swimming cozy, thanks.0 -
Makes me wonder where they were that a car driving past could get photos of them in their swimming costumes. If it's so easy to see from street level, they might want to go swimming in a different place.
I'd rather that someone on the internet (poor them!) could see me in my trunks, with my face blurred out, than someone could stand in the street watching me live...They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
That's what happens when you go swimming by the side of the M1weegie.geek wrote: »Makes me wonder where they were that a car driving past could get photos of them in their swimming costumes. If it's so easy to see from street level, they might want to go swimming in a different place.

The camera is mounted on top of a van, and can easily see over a 6 ft high fence.
The security implications are extremely worrying. Burgalaris Scumbagius already successfully uses Google Maps to plot their in/out route to evade the Police, now they can take a good look at your property to see if it is worth breaking-in.
In my town, there have been several burglaries where the crimes made-off along public footpaths and therefore never got caught.
Personnally, I will be requesting the complete removal of ALL images of my property from Google Maps & Streetview (may even get a discount on my insurance too).
If I wanted photos of my home on the web, then I'll be the one to post them.Never Knowingly Understood.
