That's the kind of post I like! You'll be fine lass. Full of fire and fight! (Through the fog of sleep deprivation...I know it well:eek::rotfl:) only way to do it is to spend less and ebay anything not nailed down..(except maybe the goslings:rotfl:)

Thing is dear Briz is that I'm not earning a bean, MrGG is subbing me everything. eBay seems to not be working for me at the minute, items aren't selling. I've a couple of baby items to sell that are worth a few bob but I'm wondering if we should hang on to them or not. Hmm. Tough one. In my book jwil is the Queen of the Bay..maybe she could help work out if it's worth it? She has been submerged with rearing as well but think she's back with us nowMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

The Latest Update
Today has been an ok day.
I've BT'd two cards to HFax for 12 months so that is helpful. I've found a supplier for a baby item that has broken which means it won't cost me ten quid shipping from the manufacturer. Hoping they do mail order as they are a forty minute drive away and with the goslings and the cost of fuel I can do without it. I also chased up an appt for an item at home that needs servicing but they can't give me an appt because they know they are busy this week and won't know til next week when they are free. What happened to the simple system of looking at a diary and making me an appt and sticking to it. I did stress that as much notice as possible is desirable. Can't see that happening. I know it will be a case of "oh I've not much on today I will do that Golden Goose appt and what I will do is call her five minutes beforehand and preferably whilst she is sorting out a meal and dealing with noisy hungry impatient young 'uns" which will make me a narky cross Mother Goose. Approach with caution is all I can say.
I've spent a grand....... total of a pound today. No, not spent a grand. I couldn't resist teasing. This is what happens when you don't get much adult company, your sense of humour totally heads south.
I'm trying to meal plan again but failing miserably. Must try harder. There will be some food spends tomorrow as we need a few crucial ingredients that we've run out of. If I can I might try and wait til Friday and go to the market in town and buy off the fruit and veg man.
Briz, I shall see if jwil can help. Does she have a diary?
Only a quickie from me tonight, not much to really report. Still not worked out how to make a fortune whilst looking after the flock. One day I will. Just not today. Hopefully tomorrow it will come to me.
Ooooooooh before I go, can anyone recommend any survey sites that are iPad compatible and actually earn the user some actual rewards in real time rather than years to come?

You'll get there GG.

Hope so KJ I really do. I sway between wanting them to stay small forever and then after the next toy has been hurled across the room narrowly missing the lamp I can't help but start counting the days/months/years til they leave home. The Latest Update
Evening folks,
Lovely sunny day here. So disappointed I didn't get my laundry done and on the line early. I did get some out after lunch but it was still damp when I brought it in.
Spends today were:
£1 Goslings activity - money well spent as they are exhausted
£18 clothing for goslings but money gifted from my 'rents so can it be classed as a spend?
£8 on dog food
£14 in Asda on essentials - I even put stuff back on the shelf!
Tomorrow sees the car going under the knife. Overdue maintenance. MrGG is paying for that. Well, he pays for everything anyway as I'm not earning. I will make sure I have a no spend day tomorrow, in my mind that is my way of counteracting MrGG's huge spend on the motor.
I'm really tired, should have an early night. Really fancy a bath. Maybe I will do that.
I've registered and opened my online EDF account in preparation for our switch in energy suppliers.
I've also sorted my MrT Clubcard online account and ordered some new key fobs as a couple of the local petrol stations now give points, so that is brilliant ans I'm trying to get my head round the Boost system. I've already got £5 which, if I understand correctly, could be £20?
Trying to decide if it's worth doing Kenco rewards or not? Can't always read the stupid codes entirely. Some of the digits are fuzzy and not clear.
Anyone linked their Nectar card to eBay? Is it worth it? I've got £4.25 to spend. I'm never sure what the best way it spend Nectar points is. I'm figuring the worst value is to get it taken off your shopping at the checkout?
My tea tonight was leftovers from yesterday which I must say was flipping lovely. Even nicer than yesterday. I wonder if it's because the meat, even though cooked, marinades as it sits in the fridge? I also had a ton of pasta with it in an attempt to fill me up.
I spent today thinking it was Friday. Why I've no idea.
Good night all, be good, be money wise.

I keep mine for restaurant vouchers which swap for 4x value so £5 is worth £20. You can also double them up for toys etc when they do the in-store promotions so your £5 voucher is worth £10. It depends on what vouchers are most useful to you.

I'm figuring the worst value is to get it taken off your shopping at the checkout? I don't really shop in Sainsburys so rarely get Nectar points. I normally swap them at the checkout as it's handy to get £5 off sometimes0 -

well hello there!!!
so good to see you back on here again......what with you & moo posting regular updates again, I am thinking these are positive signs for the Lurker household and maybe, just maybe, I can get the numbers dropping, instead of increasing.
I have noticed that things aren't selling on facebook just lately - had a good clear out over the summer which combined with car boot sale netted about £150 I think (must check spreadsheets), but the bits I've added lately haven't gone & will probably end up at the tip, which would be a shame...will keep an eye open for free listing on ebay first though - have you tried gumtree? we had little luck with that at the end of last year..
what are you & the goslings up to this weekend of uncertain weather?I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0
