The Latest Update
Evening all,
Have had a busy day today. Always good to keep occupied. Keeps the blues away. Have this minute tucked into my dinner. Last nights leftovers. I am contemplating finishing the remaining portion but I should save it and have it for lunch tomorrow.
Mooomin may I compliment on your magnificent 'tache! Any hint of linkage to RL must be banished. Anonymity is a MUST. Otherwise we would all be posting in our real names, apart from me as I already do. My real name is The Golden Goose.
I'm watching the programme about Wil's and Harry, how different they are! *raises eyebrow*
I've started writing down my CC balances, APRs and promo periods plus monthly payments. Not done them all yet due to numerous interruptions by the small feathered ones. I will finish it.
I've done a bucket load of laundry today and put away clean laundry that has been lurking waiting to be put in its rightful home. Definitely feels like an achievement. Ok so not quite the same achievement as a Sales Director bagging a huge deal I agree but it's all relative.
So payday soon. I must keep spending to a minimum in an attempt to reduce my OD. Have gone OD on my OD this month BY £20, which really makes is a £45 over spend once you add in the OD fee. I'm so cross with myself. Well, I was. I had no choice and no way of preventing it so its happened. It's not the end of the world and I can try and put it right with minimal spending this month. I must not make the situation worse.
Nearly time for the Bake Off to watch. Now that is my favourite kind of programme. *rumbly tummy*
Hope everyone's is feeling less blue now that January is nearly behind us and the nights are starting to get lighter.

Evening hope you enjoyed the bake off xx. Damn the overdraft! Is virgin cc a thought it lets you transfer to current accounts and its 0% for 20 months? I'm 4 days to payday. I wonder if our wage slips will come tomorrow yippee. So I've been doing some ringing around and some Internet banking and it seems I've BT the Halif@x debt twice. I am such a dunce. If I hadn't rung up to ask I'd never have found out til I got my next statement. A Golden Ostrich isn't much use is it? So now they are tx'ing it back to my current account and now I need to decide what to do with it? It would clear my OD and then some. Or should I use it to pay another card off? Each of my CCs has offered me a BT which I took advantage off so I've a number of promotions running and I'm not sure which one to pay it off of as a result of this. I'm not sure which would be the best one? Confused yet? My brain is boggling with numerical exhaustion. Take a breath and look at it in the morning.
Type up the numbers, the APRs and get the rate of the double BT confirmed by the company (in writing if possible)
DON'T do anything at this time of night0 -
They've told me I am in credit and its been paid twice. They asked me want I wanted to do and they suggested they tx'd it back to my current account. I agreed and it should be with me Monday. I was going to stick in my savings account until I decided what to do. It looks as though I BT'd it from two different cards. I'm wondering if I have BT'd another card twice as well as I was moving two cards together. Yet that second card says I have a zero balance. Admittedly this IS good. But now I have confused myself completely. Oh hell I don't know what has happened.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010

The Latest Update
Amongst the carnage that is maternity leave and goslings meal times I am sitting with a cuppa and the iPad. MrGG is home and he is doing dinner and I've been promised a relaxing night ahead. I've spent the afternoon refeathering the nest and putting a few feathers back where they should be.
We have had some enquiries regarding our GumTree items and one may even be sold. All progress in the right direction.
Still no decision made on the BT double up error. Pondering on it over the weekend. Really it should go back to one of the cards. I'm thinking Halicarp as that has the shortest promotional period on it, plus it has a regular APR balance of another £1k so that amount would clear it.
Tomorrow, I'll post my CC info and would welcome any advice.
Got out and about this morning which is always good for the goslings and for me. Fresh air is indeed a gift.
Not long til bedtime for the wee feathered ones and I don't think I will be a million miles behind them. Unless there is something good on the box.
Got some dollars in the bank as have been paid. Took £20 out and spent £8.40 on fruit and veg plus the local rag and some eggs. I was going to buy butter. But not at £1.40!
I'm really annoyed that Valued Opinions surveys don't work on iPhone/iPads. Our laptop has died. Not sure what else I can do about that.
The aromas of a lovely dinner are wafting in my direction as MrGG has almost finished working his magic in the kitchen.
