I had one at work but had to give it to a customer. I've done two loads of washing today, put one load (towels) in the TD as can't bear rotten hard towels. Often wonder how much a wash/dry costs us. Hi Mrs GG
Baby steps is fine...good even. It's starting and then keeping up the change that counts!
Have begun to educate my DD1 too..showed her the mortgage statement and explained why we wanted to pay it off early. Practical maths..I think she was more interested in that than her geometry homework!!! ( and I'd agree tbh!!)
I am afraid we do have hard towels..too damn tight to ever TD towels...:rotfl: why do that when you can exfoliate for free at the same time as drying yourself :rotfl:.....master GG though could have the new guest towels though in my house..they are much softer!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I too am a sucker for soft towels....but have taken to limiting them to 20 minutes in the TD....its not a bad compromise, but am so looking forward to being able to line dry.
Lack of goslings of here is part & part - it was always going to be a long shot to achieve it naturally, IVF is expensive & I am not sure if we can cope with the emotional stress.....hey ho, que sera sera & all that
Energy monitor doesnt work over here - we have one but I think MrLurks sees it as decorative rather than functional.....lightbulb not connected there at all!!I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -

So I suppose it's about time I started diarising my life again. Particularly as I'm on maternity leave again. Aye, another gosling has pitched up.
MrGG and I have a lot to sort through finances wise. I'm not in any more debt you will be pleased to hear. Just need to sort out the debt I do have.
I have taken a particular dislike to Halifax and want that credit card gone. Don't like their staff or their attitude and I don't want them to ern another penny from me. *stamps feet*
My other goal is to sort out the gas tariff. I know I know. Should have done it ages ago. Been upto my eyes in nappies doncha know.
Sorry to have been MIA for so long. Glad to be back.

Lovely to be back. Thank you for the warm welcomes. Returning hasa made me focus a bit on money. Or should I say lack of it. Plus MrLewis' recent new arrival motivated me to return.
So Gosling nbr 2 is same flavour as nbr 1. Blue. Life is so manic at times I cannot tell you. I am fit to drop by the time it's bedtime. Only to be woken again in the early hours. It's not as bad second time around. Possibly due to the existing sleep deprivation never being resolved.
I need to switch Gas tariffs. But I'm nervous about it. Definitely an ostrich on this one. I've got the heating on now. House is freezing and can't have it like that with the goslings. Anyone any experience?
Brief update as gosling is screaming.
On my to do list is to shift debt from Halifax and Opus to M&S for 9mths 0%.
