    I didn't get fired. I'm doing a degree. I therefore have no need for a job. :)

There you go. Is the degree in English?

I just corrected the punctuation. However, if you wish to be pedantic...

I, therefore, have no need for a job.

Please can you explain this to me! I've read various explanation but have never been able to get my head around it.

'What Affects me has an Effect on me'.

That's the only one that sticks in my mind. There are a few instances where this rule doesn't quite work, usually involving ridiculously complicated 'legalese' (lawyer speak) which you should always avoid anyway!

Nothing wrong with a bit of pedantry in my book. ;) If you dish it out, you have to be able to take it on the chin at times too!

We've already established that it can be either way. So ITV are right. You are also right. Why are you still battling on?

*backs away slowly trying desperately not to get on a rant about people obviously failing G.C.S.E. English Language and starting rants on M.S.E.*
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!
