I shall remember to put my clocks forward before I go to bed and I have already set my alarm so that I can watch the race live (haven't missed on yet and I am not about to start now).0

Thanks for all the good wishes for DH; he's feeling better now. He attends dialysis 3 times a week. To be honest, I'm glad that he goes because at least I know that 3 times a week his blood pressure & heart rate are being regularly checked0

Time to bump this back to the top methinks!
Hi, Nargleblast. Nope, nothing last night. Oh, apparently I am upsetting newbies now. Well, maybe because I can see what others are obviously missing from their posts. That certain things don't make sense in them.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Reason I upset myself is because I cannot prevent problems for other people. Because I know what is coming next in most cases. Cannot stop or take away what I know is coming or has been for a while. Because having seen so much in a short space of time, I really don't want things that can be preventable happening to others. And especially when people have been turned away from help. For whatever reasons, shoved from one person to the next. And not given that help that should be forthcoming but plenty find it's not there. So, that is why I do get upset. There is nothing, nothing I can do to change things for myself - believe me I have tried everywhichway to - but I see so many people around me daily go through it all, no one is there for them. No one is there to listen, to just be around for them. And I also see plenty of things daily that simply don't need or should be this way. I may be fighting or erroneously attempting to change things at times for the betterment of others at the same time sacrificing myself. I am really, or my situation is beyond redemption and I understand that now, because like many in life I have been wronged by circumstance, by situation and justice, fairness gets overlooked in the bigger picture. It is how things are. I look at the smaller picture, I take notice of things. Far too much. I just care. Sometimes I wish I did not because I know perfectly well I cannot prevent anything from happening if it is going to inevitably. I give far too much of myself to people I meet wherever that is. All I am about really. Wish I wasn't. Some have a vocation this is mine.
No, much too long. I care too much about people and what happens to them. So, for the most part I hate myself for that. Because I reached the point beyond what others think of me for purely being a good person in life I don't much care. To the point where I really don't have much time for the BS anymore. I have seen so much wrongdoing to people I have a natural despisement of it. No matter what it is, work, every day life or financially. I do not like unfairness. So, yes I do upset myself because at times I don't know when to stop listening and taking notice. But I know I never will because it's who I am. Unfortunately, I have made many enemies along the way. But those are issues they have to deal with themselves and also address why helping makes them so upset enough to want to do you in. So I hate myself because of that, too.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Wouldn't worry about that - I upset newbies and old-timers in that "equal opportunities" way..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P

Merlin .
Please don`t beat yourself up so much Sweetheart !!
The advice & help you give on here is excellent & you always tell it as it is....which is good. I have seen nothing but support in your threads/posts & you share your first hand experience with always giving a constructive outcome.
I hope you are recovered from your ordeal the other night....I can only guess how unsettling (sp?) it will have been for you.
Try & take it easy.

"equal opportunities"
Ironically, after all these years I am still waiting to see that applied in many walks of life I have encountered.
