Can only be the start of the summer holidays.

Otherwise - Good morning everybody. :hello: :hello: :hello:

The environmental health officer is as about as much use as a chocolate fireguard - anyway I banged on the floor several times and I know they came up and banged on my door but I wasnt going to venture as far as my front door not when I had a huge plastic shield on my eye held on with lashing of micropore tape:eek:

3 mugs of coffee and I am still not awake - I will be ringing my landlord later seeing as I am his best tenant:D

Quick kick back to page 1.

Horace - how long do you need to keep your eye guard on for yet? Hope its healing well.
They sound like delightful new neighbours. Do you still have the noisy high-heeled early rising ones as well? (were they nurses?). You may need to invest in some ear plugs to get some peace (not that you should have to tho)

I have to keep wearing the eye shield at night for about 4 weeks - basically its to stop me from rubbing it in my sleep or squashing it:eek:

I have some sooper dooper earplugs but hate wearing them at night - the girls upstairs both work on the railways - one for Virgin trains and other at Northfield station selling tickets and generally doing what station people do. The new chavvy neighbours are not nice - anyway I am going to phone landlord later in fact I may even do it when they have the tv volume cranked up so that he can hear it. I have become a right old grump - I don't mind if people play music or listen to the tv as long as they turn the volume down at 11pm and not take up basketball or cranking up the volume:mad:

Why should that make you a grump? I think we are all entitled to a reduction in noise levels during the hours of sleep! And when you are in close proximity to neighbours it's a question of courtesy and not causing disruption to others' lives. And maybe you should let your landlord know you think they are on the funny fags...there's a law against that isn't there?
