Have just sacked the 'mate' who was helping. He decided that rather than glue down the split piece of wood that he would rip it up with a claw hammer :eek: . I now have an inch deep gouge in one of them :mad:.

True what they say - if you want a job doing properly .. do it yourself :rolleyes:

Sorry to hear that you are still having problems with the Planks Numpty - have they found your cheque yet?

Anyway I am feeling rather pleased with myself. I have received a lovely PM from a young person who posted on the Employment & Jobseeking board because they were in a mess and had done something silly at work with regard to their referees (reading between the lines it was for an internal promotion). Lots of people on the thread were extremely judgemental and I gave this young person lots of advice both openly on the forum and in PM - as a result of my advice they have been able to keep their job:cool: Ain't life grand:D

The Loan ones are the ones who phoned today
The Credit Card ones are the ones who have lost the cheque
I really should write them a letter and send the proof , but It will cost me more in postage than the missing cheque is worth:mad:


I think some of the things I've learned from MSE/DFW is:
They can't have what I haven't got:D
I know some of the rules:o
Someone will be here if I get scared :A

Uh-oh I have been spending on clothes again but today I went to a proper mse friendly shop and got lots of things for not a lot of money. Plus I have now finally sorted out bargain cheap contact lenses (saving me over £10 per month :j).

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
