    hi
try logging out, clearing your boots cookies, closing the browser, opening browser, then logging back in.

If you can't get into your basket; after clearing cookies, do not log in, add an instock item to the basket, go to the basket, then log in from there, and then amend your basket as necessary.

If you really need to make an order and none of the above work, you can order as a guest, adding your details and ad card number manually. hth

    Good luck!

    Hi Teddy

I bought 3 packs of reduced tights today for DD £1.25 and put them through on 3 for 2 I got a 50 pts acm voucher used that ok. On another shop in another store I got 6 packs and put them through together but some went through the till at full price. Luckily I noticed and pointed this out young SA flounced off to look at the shelf then over rode the till. Don't know what she did but she managed to get the 6 packs to come up at £7.00 and my acm voucher beeped this time. SA told me it beeped because they were reduced. Told her I thought the price should be £5 has on 3 for 2 so she founced off again to look. Thank gawd she then got a manager to deal with everything and she went to another till. Got it all sorted and never tried my acm voucher again. Doh!!!

Boots (not) logic again lol.......... how come the acm voucher worked in one store on reduced tights and not in the other:confused:

Answers on a postcard pls :p

    HI
It sometimes depends how the sa scans the barcodes, if they scan clearance sticker and main barcode it shows what product has been bought therefore qualifying for points coupons etc, if however there is a problem with barcodes they sometimes put everything through as just a price with no product details so till would not recognise qualifying items for coupon. IYSWIM

This happened with the HE in my local, the sa put everything through as beauty clearance = no points, but I asked if she could scan again please as I wanted the points, luckily was a lovely sa and did this for me.

Definately have to spend £5, I spent £4.88 last night ( I know...I know....) and didn't get one, but luckily I managed to pick two discarded ones up on the way out of the store! :)

    HTH
I did the same thing yesterday. I realised as the total came up that the HC discount had kicked in, the nearest thing to hand was a big bag of reduced Revels for 90p though so I gave it a miss. That'll teach me not to pay at the photo counter where there are no handy cheap items for a few pence.

ETA It did mean that I got out of the shop earlier though, I've been known to spend an extra hour in Boots trying to get off the merry-go-round :rotfl:

Whats wrong with reduced Revels?? I would have grabbed a bag to bring up to £5, then grabbed another 6 bags to spend another £5 :rotfl:

Haha don't think I will be bothering to make up my spend to £5 for this voucher. Got no use for the voucher so Mr Boots will not be getting much out of me this month!!!!
