  • I am getting so into this bootsing, I spent my last £5 voucher last night on a pack of wipes for my hamper box. Cant believe how quickly my box is filling up. Told a friend about it and she asked could she have one this xmas for her present as she said it would save her a loads on buying her skincare. I dont mind as normally spend about £20 on her so will halve my spending on her this year.
Then told my friend I work with about the ACM vouchers and now she has asked if I will take her to boots to show her. Just want to say thanks to everyone on here as its never been so enjoyable trying to spend as little money as possible.

    Hey

My first time at Bootsing on here, so here's what I got at lunchtime today:-

    1 x mini No 7 brush set £7.83
    1 x No7 eyeshadow £6.90
    1 x facewash (reduced) £3.80
    1x Highlights voucher from ACM

£24.73 total as 3 for 2 took off the facewash

    - £5.00 perkie
    -£10.00 for Highlights

Total paid = £9.73 and I used my double points coupon!

The eyeshadow is lovely too - looks like the one I am wearing from MAC today :rotfl: It's the single one called Truffle.
  • can anyone tell me where I went wrong....got the highlighter voucher this morning and tried:

    Foundation £10.50
    Highlighter £10.00
    Eyeshadow £9.30

was expecting to get eyeshadow free as cheapest item, then £10 off for the highlighter and finally £5 off for purkie making it £5.50 - but the highlighter voucher wouldn't scan, assistant said it was because of the 342 offer - couldn't use it in conjunction etc..

I need to buy both the eyeshadow pallette and the foundation before the purkie runs out, any suggestions for the best combination?

Managed to get 75% off tights today, on 342 and then 100 points, decided to just use one points voucher against each batch of three to make the 3 acm vouchers go further (9 packs instead of 3) so 3 packs were costing £2.50 with 100 points back....very happy with that purchase :D

All suggestions for the No7 make up gratefully received;)

I think we need to get 4 items for the 342 and highlights and perkie combo
    eg highlights- £10
    eyeliner-£8
    wipes £6.50
    wipes 6.50
    total £31 minus 10 highlights minus 5 perkie minus 6.50 342
    so total would be £9.50
Am i correct or has anyone managed 342 with highlight if so can they let us know!!

Thats a similar NO7 to what I was intending doing rukicruki, did the SA have to do anything special with the highlighter and voucher when she put it through first, or did it work that way with no beeps?

ie scan the highlighter, then the voucher?
or scan the highlighter, then the other NO7 items, then finish and pay, then highlighter voucher, then finish and pay again, then perkie?
or, having read your message again, did the SA override the SS till and void the highlighter altogether?

I've just found a st tropez body polisher full size in a bargain bin for £1! They are normally £15 so not sure if it was a mistake or what happened
