Can I just say a big thank you, to all the people giving me thanks today.
I finally feel like a fully fledged Bootser (think you should issue graduation certificates!).
I always find this board full of lovely ladies and gents all helping each other out and is nice to be part of that.

O/T I thought I heard a earthquake today, but was just everyone stapeding to Boots!

Yes, they were on the clearance stand and there were lots of them. Also, there were the anti-cellulite machines.

Hope everyone had a good day. Well done to BBB for that gorge-tastic glitch. You go girlfriend! Hope everyone else gets a piece of the action too.

I got my mailing stuff today too, which was a complete waste of time. The usual carp: £2.50 off £10.00 on healthcare (like I'm ever gonna use that!), double points, and 150 points on £20 spend x 2. Why don't I get any other vouchers? Boohiss! Anyroad, I'm thinking of getting the Hugo Boss Element thing which has 500 free points, using double points, 150 points on £20 spend, and the 200ish points on the £30 spend ACM voucher, so if it works, I would get 500 + 150 + 200 points back which is 850 back and double points too if that would work, so roughly £10 worth back in points. Plus if I get the Hugo Boss Element thing from a bigger Boots store, they normally hand out a few free gifty things too, so all in all, very good.

Harrogate was lovely, but never got chance to go to Boots. Oh well. Off on a training course tomorrow, so no Bootsing then either. Will have to wait till Friday. Leave some bargains for me too! Have fun hun's.

Thats exactly the combo i did Need a break (tho on SS tills) but didnt beep at all-SEL on Lip Lacquer was still £9.50 but appears to be reduced nationwide, but with Mr B you never know i guess...

Know you're away at the minute Sandra Scarlett (hope your having a fab time!) but saw this voucher for a free refreshment at Selfridges and thought of you (Valid until May 31st )

I noticed that there is an offer wyb any No17 item... for a free Nail Varnish.:)
Found some reduced No17 Eye Shadow x 2 @ 50p each,
and picked out 2 x No17 Nail varnishes in French Manicure colours and the till said no.
I explained that the No17 display did not say reduced items were excluded from the offer,
so the SA put them through and I paid just £1 for all 4 items.:j
I have tried the nail varnish and it is quite nice.
So look out for some clearance items in the No17 range.

I also picked up some reduced price Socks and Tights, used the 100 points ACM vouchers that are due to run out on 07/04.
I bought ladies socks x 2 @ £1.25 each, 3 x tights @ 75p each.
Total spend was £4.75p, total points gained was 500.;)

There is a 3 4 2 promo going on, but I paid for each item on its own,
so that the ACM voucher could be used to gain the extra points.
Might be worth looking out for some of these.

That's reminded me of a convo we had with a manager last week. They said that once most of the stock had gone to clearance, then 75% off and 90% off, it was sent off somewhere and destroyed

Unfortunately, he wouldn't say where the 'somewhere' was :rotfl:

I bought 3 packs of reduced tights today for DD £1.25 and put them through on 3 for 2 I got a 50 pts acm voucher used that ok. On another shop in another store I got 6 packs and put them through together but some went through the till at full price. Luckily I noticed and pointed this out young SA flounced off to look at the shelf then over rode the till. Don't know what she did but she managed to get the 6 packs to come up at £7.00 and my acm voucher beeped this time. SA told me it beeped because they were reduced. Told her I thought the price should be £5 has on 3 for 2 so she founced off again to look. Thank gawd she then got a manager to deal with everything and she went to another till. Got it all sorted and never tried my acm voucher again. Doh!!!:rolleyes:

Boots (not) logic again lol.......... how come the acm voucher worked in one store on reduced tights and not in the other
