    Hi Teddy

I bought 3 packs of reduced tights today for DD £1.25 and put them through on 3 for 2 I got a 50 pts acm voucher used that ok. On another shop in another store I got 6 packs and put them through together but some went through the till at full price. Luckily I noticed and pointed this out young SA flounced off to look at the shelf then over rode the till. Don't know what she did but she managed to get the 6 packs to come up at £7.00 and my acm voucher beeped this time. SA told me it beeped because they were reduced. Told her I thought the price should be £5 has on 3 for 2 so she founced off again to look. Thank gawd she then got a manager to deal with everything and she went to another till. Got it all sorted and never tried my acm voucher again. Doh!!!

Boots (not) logic again lol.......... how come the acm voucher worked in one store on reduced tights and not in the other:confused:

Answers on a postcard pls :p

I've had same prob. One pair of reduced socks in one store wouldnt let me use voucher (nice SA mannually added points), but same reduced socks in diff stores added points no prob
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

    Hey Rubyloo, :hello:
The ACM vouchers only work on Boots own brand tights and socks...
I thought I would be cheeky and try the 100 points on a pack of PP tights reduced to just 56p, but the till said no.
But for my £4.75 spend, I got 500 points and used that towards a phone top up...
So the tights and socks were a lovely free gift...In Boots logic.
One pair of tights had to have the points added by the SA, not sure why.

I don't feel so lonely now.

Even Boots tills are at odds with each other and changing the goalposts not just the SA's :rotfl:

    Hi Fluffy:D

I bought the bum and shape thingy ones which were Boots own brand. Not going to grumble though £2.50 for £15 worth of tights is good.

You got a rite good deal with the points well done. Has I said I only got 50 pts voucher but wonder if I would have being better doing it your way.

    Wanders off to get calcuator:rolleyes:

They sound a bit Trinny and Suzannah...I only 'bearly' need them. :)
But it was the 100 points a pair that lured me in.....:D

Sorry Sally they're still in the bag and couldn't be bothered to check what they are called properly.

My DD is just under 9st but reckons they get rid of her flab (shame they don't reach her mouth):D I asked her firstly where was her flab (her word not mine) and secondly when wearing the tights where did she think her flab went. She said she didn't know but thinks they are great :rotfl:
