Hi all. I hope no one minds me posting this and I know its OT, but it was given to me by my DS when he was about 3 at Nursery for Mother's day and it was a set of his handprints on a card

There used to be so many
    Of my fingerprints to see
On furniture and walls and things
    From sticky, grubby me
But if you stop and think awhile
    Youll see im growing fast
    Those little handprints disappear
You cant bring back whats past
    So here's a small reminder
    To keep, not wipe away
Of tiny hands and how they looked
To make you smile someday :A

Your fooling no one bar yourself.

    Norwich,

Did the 4 central branches today and very little to report. Hardly any sale stuff. Simply got another couple of the Botanic Pamper sets to get the £5 voucher as wanted to get the No7 nail file set for free. Really thought that at least 1 store would have something to tempt me for Mothers Day. What sale stuff I did see was there when I was in 3/4 weeks ago. Also some stores had large signs saying 'no' to the £5 voucher being used on the reduced No 7 stuff. Very disappointed. Hope this helps if you were going to make a special trip...don't bother!

Forgot to say that did not see any No 7 GWP'S, although the branch opposite the castle mall still had the large poster in the window offering it, rather than the 342 offer. Whether they actually had them though..........

has anyone actually managed to do this?
because i thought the till would automatically take off the cheapest item reducing the total to less thatn £18 so you can't scan the gwp without it beeping.
    correct me if im wrong.

this works because of the way the tills are set ie
    item 1 scans at £7
    item 2 scans at £6
    item 3 scans at £5
GWP scans at £0.00 (because you've got £18 worth of items scanned through the till)

then the 342 kicks in, so £5 (cheapest item) is deducted from the total

then you pay with your perkie, so you can take another £5 off the total :D

The No7 accesseries are a bit thin on the ground since Mr B put a halt to us using perkies on reduced items:rolleyes: all I found today was; moisture gloves, exfoliating sponges and facial sponges. Better than nothing I guess. Never seen the glasses case or the other new accessories peeps have mentioned:confused: anyone seen these in London stores?

    Hi Sally

they had the No7 glasses case in Sedley Place today. they had all the range except the fold-up bag.

Today, I went out with 3 perkies in my purse. Then I wombled 3, earned 1 and spent 3 - I came home with 1 more than I went out with:rotfl:

I got my very first mini extract today with 300 points (I know, I'm way behind everyone else). I got the almond body butter. I can't stop sniffing it. It smells gorgeous:D

The SA said the perkie wouldn't work on accessories. Then he took a closer look at me and said "I remember you. you're the one who is really good with vouchers" :o He has only served me once before as well:rotfl:

Sounds like a good shop, Sally06. Fancy being remembered by the SA ( I note it was a MALE one !!)

Thanks for the info re Body Butters - I've been trying to resist, even tho I was lucky enough to get some ACM vouchers - think I only have 2 mag vouchers tho - cos I don't actually NEED any more body stuff, and even tho MrB pays us to take them away, we still have to hand over real cash to get them, BUT I'm down to my penultimate B*dy Sh*p one (my fave!) and I am an absolute sucker for anything almondy - perhaps I woiuld end up eating it??

you are such a sweetie mini. That's a lovely thing to say about your mum:A

mini, 10 stone 3/7lb is not heavy for a man. You probably don't need to lose any weight. I'm a stone heavier than you:o would you believe, I've never been to a gym:eek: I need to lose weight though and I'm struggling. I have gained approx 1 stone 6lb since I moved out of London 3.5 years ago:o I used to be so disciplined. I did aerobics 6 days a week, but I can't seem to motivate myself these days:confused: someone, please give me a kick up the you-know-what:rotfl:

Sally06, consider yourself kicked up the you-know-what!!! Summer's on it's way and going to the gym will make you feel better about all sorts of things - and it means you can eat and drink more with a clear(ish) conscience(that's why I go - I may be sitting here with a glass of vino, but I've earned it on the treadmill, LOL!).... go for it!

I usually just ask them to surprise me :D

Last year DD found an old card I had kept that she'd made at nursery school years ago. She bought a frame for it and gave it back to me as a surprise Mothers Day present. I have it on my bedroom wall now.

It's a picture of a flower made from her handprints (dipped in poster paint) with this message typed and stuck on:

    Sometimes you get discouraged
    Because I am so small
    I always leave my handprints
    On furniture and walls
    But everyday I'm growing big
    Soon I'll be very tall
    Then all my little handprints
Will be so hard to recall
So here's a special gift for you
    To keep, not wipe away
So you can remember how my hands looked
    When I was very small

Sorry for yet another post, folks ( can you tell I'm catching up?!) I think that's really lovely, what a thoughtful pressie. I'm not expecting much tomorrow - DH has to work in the afternoon and evening and he and my two DSs will be out at thugby all morning (and I'll be at the gym Sally06!!) - if my two teenage DSs can get through the day without trying to kill each other, that would be present enough for me I think...
