Just back from Manchester and there's hardly any no7 accs left, it looked like the shelves had been ransacked! I got a quick dry nail oil for £1 after perkie and a compact mirror for 87p. I found one of the natural collection make up bag sets, got it price checked but it was still £4.89. Also got boots own brand AAA batteries, 74p a pack and 3 4 2 so £1.48 for 24 and their dated until 2013. (These are the packs with 4 batteries and 4 free.) The smaller branch on King St doesnt stock the accs and the tiny branch on St Annes St is closing down on the 31st March. They only had a little clearance stand at the moment but it might get better before they shut.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

For the perkie to work on 3 4 2 with reduced and full priced items,
you just need to make sure that at least 1 of your higher priced items is not reduced,
as the till gives you the cheapest item free.
At least one of the remaning two items, which you pay for, has to be a full price item, the other can be a reduced item.
Eg: I x full price item £7,
1 x full price/ or reduced item £6,
1 x reduced item £5 = You pay £18 before discounts, so pick up a No7 gwp.:)
3 4 2 kicks in and total is now £13. Give in a perkie and pay just £8 for all 3 items including gwp.:T
Arrrrrrgh, now I want to go out and get another gwp...Noooo!:eek:Thanks JT for clarifying, I figured that the free item should be one I had to pay for but hoping otherwise:rolleyes: Well best laid plans.......................are completely fruitless in my case, had my shopping planned - NO compacts in my colour and NO GWP's so came out empty handed. Mr T's ended up with my cash today:p

Surely this defeats the object. As sliiming pill + large meal = weight loss/weight gain
Who's gonna try them first and report back;)
The ingredients of this one are seemingly starch from potatoes, green tea (scientifically unproven to help with weight loss) and some vitamins, ho hum... and they cost how much?
It reminds me of Ayds slim aids in the 70's, remember those? They were basically a bit of fudge which you chewed with a hot drink before a meal. The claim was that they would supress your appetite and therefore lead to weight loss. They actually contained a mild local anaesthetic which dulled your taste buds and of course some sugar to take the edge off your appetite :rotfl: I was a sucker in those days and tried them but they really didn't work any better than eating a bit of ordinary fudge would have done.0 -

(I'm a lucky lady)
what about a magazine subscription? ask them to make you something or write you a poem? a plant for the house or garden? give them all a camera from you suc stash and ask them to fill it with photos that will make you smile?0 -

Thanks Littleemmie for the topic of dry/itchy legs as I too have them as well, it's annoying + embarrassing for me, walking down the street itchy lol..:rotfl: I have been using anti-histamines but need more.
Thanks to you all for the recommendations for different things to make them not itch... I actually have a couple of things on the lists, but haven't used yet, so I'll be trying them out...from Boots.

reminds me of a gift from my aunt
she wrote me a poem that was basically descriptions about myself,DH and all my children.it was really good, in a lovely frame and made me well up,then i had DD6 and she had to re-write it all, guess what present i got that year:D
sorry, back on topic-birkenhead boots had loads of toothbrushes and toothpaste yesterday which were getting reduced, went in today and they are nowhere to be seen, surely they couldn't have sold them already either that or they are keeping the no7 GWPs company somewhere.
no H&B mags and acms's not giving me any exciting offers which was a pity as there was a grubby wash bag with some almond extracts goodies in for £3.75 on clearance
anyway i am in a really good mood as DD1 played her first football match in 4 months after being injured and scored:j0 -
